The recent news that Mega Man Legends 3 was cancelled [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.301557-Capcom-Kills-Mega-Man-Legends-3] left many fans with angry and sad reactions, but there might still be hope left. CyberConnect2 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CyberConnect2], the CEO ad president of the company that made the .hack//, .hack//G.U., and the upcoming Asura's Wrath video game, recently stated that he would like to develop the cancelled game. He responded in a recent interview when asked the question what Capcom series he would like to develop.

"It would be Mega Man Legends 3," exclaimed Matsuyama in a Siliconera interview. "I really like the series!" Matsuyama went on to say he was disappointed by the cancellation. CyberConnect2′s work on Solatorobo and Tail Concerto could be a foundation for a Mega Man Legends sequel too. Would any fans "green light" a Mega Man Legends game from the Fukuoka based developer?

Awesome, as usual fo rCyber Connect.

These guys are probably gonna be the Successor for Platinum Games/ Clover Studio at Capcom. The subdivision that makes better games than the actual company that pays them. But unlike clover, they were already an established company in the first place.

I hope they do it, not only will fans be pleased but then they finally rub in Capcom's faces.

Although if he takes over MML3, I hope he makes it PS3/360/3DS. I would enjoy a HD MML seeing as that I don't plan on getting a 3DS anytime soon.
