http://forum.fanfiction.net/forum/DD_4th_Edition_Campaign/82514/

Now, it's on Fanfiction.net 'cause I dunno how my parents will react to catching me use OpenRPG but I assume the worst(I always do that). Plus I know how to work the FF.net forums well.

Anyway, I'm playing a Dragonborn Fighter and we already have a Half-Elf Rogue(he hasn't posted to the forum yet).

So we need:

Cleric

Some sort of Spellcaster

And something else that usually never gets played during the usual Tank Healer Spellcaster Thief Buffer group.

Who's interested in joining?

Oh! And what we use for making characters is on the Character Sheets topic.

EDIT: Level 1, and steady paced. Not that fast, I and another player(the Rogue) are just starting.

Sounds interesting, though I don't know how much time I can put into it. How fast are you planning to take things? If I decide to join, I will probably fill the spellcaster role.

EDIT: Also, could you specify starting level and other more specific rules regarding character creation?

I'm game.

I play an assassin on every second Thursday night, but you've already got a rouge... so maybe a Paladin or Warlock could be cool. Unless you want a leader, might have a look into Shaman.

1st Level, preferably use the bare basics when it comes to character creation, and we're gonna go at a slow, steady pace.

This 4th edition? If so I'd be down to learn the rules, especially if I can be a paladin
4th Edition is like Simple D&D.

4th ed, sorry. I just don't have the time. I would, but I tried playing 4th with my regular D&D group once, and it was really clunky, which really is saying something for a group of relatively experienced 3.5 players.

I've nothing against 4th edition myself because as long as friends are enjoying gaming I can't argue against it.

That said, I'm very much an "around the table" kinda gamer. I can't really get into the forum thing. Best of luck though!

Thanks for responding, but thinking about 4th Edition, I have a hard time imagining how things like combat are going to work in 4th Edition without some easily-altered grid on hand to mark where everything is. In the two 4th edition campaigns I've played, a grid is essential. 3.5 can be done pretty easily without a grid, but 4th edition mapped every power to squares and you have to have a grid to really accurately measure it out and get a sense of location on the battlefield. Without one, I just don't think I can join you.
