"Richard, while you're busy making doe eyes maybe you might use them and see that she's clearly not human, that makes it alright for her to be experimented on, right?"
Eliezer commented, and Richard didn't know whetether to nod or not. He knew she was no longer human, but it was never okay to experiment on anyone, the only difference was that personal difference it made to him. If humans could be experimented on... Elizer then said he wouldn't take Azkar as two were a crowd or whatever, and left. Richard turned his attention towards Azkar, who was still talking.
"Whatever floats your boat Richard. Just store it away if you ever want me to visit your room."
"Huh?" What was Azkar talking about? Had Richard missed the main point or something? Well, at least she didn't realize what he was carrying. Richard put the tooth back into his pocket, confused of why he had brought it out, but fairly sure it was because he had panicked. Azkar then did the same thing his sister had done when she wanted something, which was to make herself seem as cute as possible "Get me out, please..."
The lieutenant, who had been following their conversation, said this:
"I'm not letting you out because anyone willing to endanger other agents as you have doesn't deserve to roam free. If I were you Richard, I'd leave her to rot. That Division Head was onto something when he through her in there"
"Division head?" As Richard knew less about how the chain of command was in DICE than he knew about geography, that was as puzzling as ever. "Which division?" Something interested him about a mummy being a division head, but he snapped out of it. "Oh wait, more important things right now. So, about Azkar, I'd get that you would lock her up, it sounds like it was pretty crazy," he looked shortly at to Azkar and added, "No offense, Azkar." Richard continued.
"But why here? This isn't being locked up, this is being next in line for the big "legal" torture party, which is not a good thing, and that should not be used as a punishment." Richard thought about it. His "punishment" for getting too close to DICE all those years had been what could be akin to a "free" imprisonment, where he could do what he wanted to, but not really, and where he was forced to work together with people he, when it came to it, really despised because of their eager use of live specimen. Even so, it was still hundred times better than what could have happened.
"What would it take to get her out of there?" he said, trying to bargain.
