"Well you're really going the wrong way if you want to meet new people, I doubt most first dates start with people being cuffed to the back seat" He jested. "But what would I know, maybe the kids are into that now a days"

"People being the operative word here"

After typing in the new address, Rebecca put the pager away and reached back to grab Chloe's mouth. She pried it open to show Elizer the four large fangs she had on display.

"She's a beautiful isn't she. Honestly, I was under the impression they couldn't go out during the day. Either that's just a myth or she has some bitchin sun block.

Rebecca let go of the captive and drove on towards the portal's location.

After Rebecca had finished fiddling with the pager she reached back and grabbed Chloe. Prying her jaw open by brute force alone to reveal a deadly collection of fangs, each one where the incisor would be on a normal human.

"She's a beautiful isn't she. Honestly, I was under the impression they couldn't go out during the day. Either that's just a myth or she has some bitchin sun block

It had been while since he had bumped into a vampire, but then again even before his forced stay at DICE, most things had been a while ago. Was it Venice or Italy? Either way the myth about them not being able to walk in day light was just that, a myth. What better way to hide then in plain sight? Most supernatural beings had taken this idea to heart. Human's were too suspicious and too easy to fool when it came to things they didn't fully understand.

Rebecca then let Chloe go and drove towards where the portal would be. Was that it?

"So what? We came all this way to get some weed and put the fear into a vampire? You've got some strange hobbies."

"So what? We came all this way to get some weed and put the fear into a vampire? You've got some strange hobbies."

"What? That would be just...boring. Boring and too simplistic. I've got something far better in mind for this one. We're going to cause some epic chaos in the demon community. And it all starts about 40 miles from here"

The car finally made it back to the old garage and speed into the portal. When they exited from the other side, they found themselves in a rather low key, suburban neighborhood. Rebecca parked then as far away from any onlookers as possible.

"I'll tell you a bit more, if you tell me the reason for you calling me down here." Richard said calmly, his face frowned for a short second, and his facial expression turned serious. "The real reason."

"Look Richard, all I know about that particular badge, is the connection it has to people in Division Zero; nothing more, nothing less." Isabelle said in a calm tone, hoping it would satisfy his query. She then looked at Richard directly, noticing that his disposition hadn't shifted at all, it even looked as though it had gotten a little worse, but she couldn't be sure. His looked rather wide, and showed signs of tiredness, possibly a side effect of all he had been through.

Although she didn't want to, Isabelle realised that it would most likely be the only thing that would have any effect. After sighing to herself, Isabelle went up to Richard, and with her right hand, pinched at the presure point that was at the base of the neck. This caused Richard to gasp for a brief moment, before his body went slightly limp and his body to fall back in his chair. Isabelle removed her coat and draped it over Richard, then went over to her desk pulled out a sheet of paper and pen, and began to write a letter.

A while later, Isabelle was done, she enclosed the letter with the wax seal of her family's emblem. She then inserted the letter into the open pocket on the front of her coat, and then kissed Richard on the cheek.

"I'm sorry, so sorry." Isabelle said, as she grabbed a more suitable coat for going out and then left her quarters.

Vayle was alone in the common room, one of the few occasions that she was by herself, enjoying the hot chocolate, finding its taste to be delightful. She soon however heard a noise, and saw that Kain was sitting next to her; after a smile and brushing his hair back, he looked familiar to someone that Vayle had known.

"I don't remember if I thanked you properly for the clothes earlier. Thanks. Now do you have any more of that Hot Chocolate?"

"Sadly no Kain, this is the only one I have; but you can get one from down down the corridor. And thank you for enjoying the clothes." Vayle said with a brief smile. She soon began to notice the similarities between Kain and Leigh more.

"Say Kain, was there anyone in your family that went by the name of Leigh?"

Kain smiled, but he sure as hell wasn't going down the corridor for a cup of hot chocolate.
"Say Kain, was there anyone in your family that went by the name of Leigh?"
Kain took a moment to think.
"My grandfather used to tell stories about his grandfather, a man who hunted demons named Leigh, with a group of extraordinary menand women. But I always thought they were just that, stories. Haven't thought about it too much but now that I'm in the same boat, I suppose there's a chance he's real. Probably didn't turn into a werewolf though, so I think I'm better at it than him." Kain gave a small smile.
"Why are you asking, anyways? The guy is either long dead or in the immortal old peoples home."

She sounded as if she was speaking the truth. Or... was that what he wanted to think? Yeah, he was tired, and he wanted it over with. He wanted Isabelle to only know this, because he didn't want the problems to get worse. Did that change his ability to read her? Was he too biased to see the truth? Richard couldn't help but feel terribly annoyed with himself, and at everything that had happened. And most of all DICE. "This isn't going anywhere." he realized. "I should just--- Isabelle suddenly had another look in her eyes, a feeling he couldn't specify, and suddenly she moved towards him swiftly. Due to him sitting in a chair, as well as being fairly exhausted, she managed to pinch the base of his neck. He gasped as his body went limp, and he then passed out.

The sped through the same dilapidated garage that they arrived through into another portal. They materialised in a dreary suburban neighbourhood, not content with the boundaries they had drawn up centuries ago, the human populace continued to spill out from their old cities and they result were the dull, idealised suburban home. An easy place to hide the torment of others behind easy going smiles and neighbourly greetings.

"Second and final stop on the crazy train"

At least he wouldn't have to put up Rebecca (not a man) for much longer.

"And how are you planning to that Miss One Man Army?"

"It's just a little earlier, me, Garath and Isabelle held a seance, to try and call up a spirit from my past; to see if they could help fill in some of the blanks about who I was when I was alive. We succeeded in finding one, and his name was Leigh. Turns out I was demon hunter, and I worked alongside him back in the day."

Kain smile turned wry,
"Back in the day? You look so young though. I believe you were mentioned in a few stories, but I don't really remember them. If you want, my grandfather knows them all by heart, though he lives in an old folks home in Ohio..."

Vayle face had blushed at the 'look so young' comment, but she was intrigued to hear these stories; they may fill in a few holes in her memory.

"Well, you could say that being a spirit means the hands of time have stopped my appearance from changing. As for these stories, I'm interested in hearing them; but won't your grandfather be a little shocked from seeing a spirit?" She asked with concern, not wanting to scare the man.

Kain smiled, unperturbed by the revelation. He had already figured out what she was, he had met a few spirits, and he noted they were the only things without scent he encountered thus far.
"He believes in demons, can't imagine why he'd be scared of a friendly entity many believe don't exist. Still, might be best we leave out the spirit thing. I doubt I'll have a mission for awhile, and blowing off my psyche evaluation sounds fun, if you'd like to see him soon."

"Well, I guess that makes things easier to understand then, and I can see your concern regarding leaving out the whole 'I'm a spirit' thing, it can cause problems for the unprepared or those who are easily scared. I get the feeling that Isabelle ain't going to be back for a while, so I'm ready to go whenever Kain." Vayle said as she finished off her hot chocolate.

"In that case, to the portal place." Kain said with finality, getting up. They made their way to the aforementioned location without incident. The portal even deposited them at the retirement home. the smell hit him, hard.
"Oh dear god, we've made a terrible mistake." Kain uttered, doubling over with his hands over his nose.

"In that case, to the portal place." Kain said with finality as he stood up. The pair of them soon made their way to the portal room without much incident. It even managed to deposit them outside the retirement home. Suddenly, a look of shock washed over Kain's face.

"Oh dear god, we've made a terrible mistake." Kain uttered, with has hands going over his nose several times.

"Why, whats happened Kain? Has something happened to your grandfather?"

Garath walked back to his room, not sure what to do with himself before the date he decided to take a nap, see if he could get caught up on the sleep he had missed earlier. He set an alarm and slept fairly well, in spite of his excitement.

He woke from his nap, feeling refreshed, took a quick shower and dressed for his date, he realized that as a downside to being well dressed all the time he really didn't have anything particularly nice to change into for the dinner.

He checked his watch, made sure he had his wallet as well as the portal device, and headed to the portal room.

"Why, whats happened Kain? Has something happened to your grandfather?"
"It's just never smelled this... awful to me before. Must be the wolf powers. I hope at least, it smells like a hundred people rotting." Kain gained some semblance of composure.
"Right, let's go find dear old Popsy." Kain began moving, swiftly and with his shirt pulled over his nose. The receptionist rolled her eyes,
"The rumors aren't true, boy."
"No, they are. They really are." Kain proceeded to try and get his grandpas room number. Kain turned to Vayle,

"Follow me, then." Kain began walking again, even faster.
'Dear god, it can get WORSE?!' He thought, almost out loud. Most of the old coots were looking at Vayle weirdly. They reached his room quickly, and Kain knocked on his door a few times and walked in. He was hit with in the jaw with a crutch.
"MOTHER FU-"
"Oh, hello boy." was the older gents greeting. He had the same face as leigh, though his hair was pure silver. He certainly had the muscles, drooping though they were, and a few more scars.
"And who is this lovely girl you brought with you?"

After spending sometime simply relaxing by herself, Isabelle went off to have a shower then got changed into a more suitable outfit for a date; but kept her coat in case wherever it was they were going to was cold. After looking at herself in a mirror, she noticed that she was blushing and feeling a little embarrassed. Isabelle then made her way towards the portal room.

Upon her arrival, she saw Garath was already there, and looking rather fine.

"I say Garath, you look rather dashing." Isabelle said with a smile.

"Right, let's go find dear old Popsy." He then added and began to move, swiftly and with his shirt pulled over his nose. Vayle followed on close behind, and noticed several of the strange looks she was receiving from the residents of the retirement home. Finally they reached the room belonging to Kain's grandfather. He knocked on the door several times before entering, whereupon he was hit in the jaw with a crutch.

"MOTHER FU-" Kain shouted out, but was interupted by the older gentleman. He had roughly the same face as Leigh, though his hair was pure silver instead of blond; and he certainly had the muscles, drooping though they were, along with some more scars.

"Oh, hello boy. And who is this lovely girl you brought with you?" The man asked, Vayle blushing a little.

"Good afternoon sir, my name is Vayle." She responded with, dropping a curtsy.

"We come here today, cause Kain told me that you had some stories to tell about your grandfather Leigh." Vayle then turned to Kain, who was still clutching his jaw.

"Are you alright?"

"I say Garath, you look rather dashing."

"Thank you, you're looking even more beautiful than usual yourself," He replied, smiling back, he held up the portal device "Where would you like to eat?"

He would suggest someplace himself but all of his favorite meals had taken place on cruise ships where he'd been hired to do a show, and he didn't like his chances of guessing the location of a ship. Ending up dumped into the middle of the ocean was not a good way to start a date.

He had never seen Isabelle dressed like this before, and he hadn't been lying when he complimented her. She seemed to be blushing ever so slightly, he wondered how often she went out like this.

"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Still hit like a god damn train, popsy."
"Damn straight I do." He chuckled, and turned to Vayle.
"My name is Desmond. What is this about Leigh? I know Kain was always fascinated with those, surprised any one else is... Anyways, which one would you like to hear? The slaying of the Black Hound was always a favorite of Kains, it even had the whole group in it! Do you still go by Kevin, or has that phase passed?"
'I called my self Kevin?'
"No, it passed I guess." Kain shrugged

Richard woke up in a chair, and it took a few seconds for him to realize where he was and what had happened. "Where---" where was Isabelle? How long had he been knocked out? "Did she go tell the boss?" He wasn't sure of what he had been thinking, she hadn't known a lot, it had been obvious. Yet, he had probably managed to reveal more himself. He sat up, and saw that Isabelle had placed her coat on him, using it as some kind of blanket. In the pocket of it, a letter stuck out. Richard took it out, it had no addressee or other indication of who it was for. The back of it was closed by a wax seal.

"Huh. I don't think she would have forgotten it in the coat, considering it was sticking out pretty obviously." Besides, he didn't doubt the possibility of this being his last while doing as he wished so if she really had forgotten it, Richard didn't really care. He opened it, it had been for him. In it, Isabelle apologized for knocking him out, and told him that she wouldn't reveal to anyone what she knew. "Is this legit?" Yeah. It was. Richard had seen it already back then, but he hadn't realized it, paranoia getting the better of him. Isabelle really had been sincere. He didn't know why she had called him down, but it hadn't been because she wanted to blackmail or threaten him. "Well, either way, I shouldn't hang around here anymore. What time is it? I think I need to get back to the office." He checked a clock, it was evening. "Great," he murmured, but he was smiling. At least he felt well, just... really sleepy.

"I'll have to get out of here without people noticing me. It would bring on too many questions. Also, I'm hungry, but that'll have t wait until I've rested." He noticed he was speaking out loud, a habit he thought he had removed. "I shouldn't relax too much." He then, through the decently developed ability to get somewhere without people noticing -he hadn't spent five years "borrowing" from DICE without learning anything apart from demon DNA- and managed to get up the stairs without bringing much attention to himself. He entered the office area, but entered Daniel's office instead of his own. There he found Daniel behind a computer. "Is there anything new to do? Or can I go get some sleep?" he asked.
