Lets travel back to the beatifull years that were the 90s anime still didnt suck and cartoons were actually worthy of watching. Suddenly burst into the scene what would appear like a simple pokemon competition, yet turns itself into one of the gratest (on a personal descition) "kid" anime ever! Lets be honest we all love Digimon even the people who actually didnt like the show were enchanted by the idea, I actually WENT to camp hoping that a space-time continoum wormpool would open and take me into a digital world. I dont have to say that this didnt happen and eventually Digimon was over, leaving me with nothing but a loss childhood and a really cool movie. But "hooray! out of nowhere apears the second generation of Digimon" I say (in my age of 9 I think) "it HAS to be awesome" says my good friend as we sit down in front of the T.V and watch the first two episodes. Later we would spend the rest of the afeternoon bashing our own faces against the wall to try to forget, we werent able to forget. So after the second generation I survived two year without Digimon until the third generation comes into hand, this one is actually rather darker and more realistic than the others going to the point of actually killing leomon and not completley forgeting about it three episodes later (im looking at you Mimi, you stupid little..) and making the baddie a super powerfull virus thingy and a biker/gangster/demon that at the end goes "goodie". and with this the age of digimon ends, leaving us with one awesome generation, one that sucked and one that was cool...oh god I wish I could say that.
Truth is digimon continues in a fourth generation that felt more like watching a crossover beetwen power rangers adn digimon and a strange fantasy webcomic. In the fourth season they used the idea the third one pitched in (kids turning or better put MERGING with their digimons) but twist`s it a bit and makes the chosen children capable of actually turning into Digimon completley killing the digimon-human relation that the other generations had, make ing it nothing but a big ball of crapiness.
Now her is the fith generation called "DNA squad" wich is even wich focusses on a secret organization (make belief secret anyway since they use gigantic dinasour thingies and pretend that their just gas leaks over and over again) that uses special human DNA froma "squaaad" of kids to "evovle" (thats right no more digi-volutions), sounds interesting but the stories kinda boring and even if they bring back agumon most of the digimon are plain and mimic their owners (the brave one, the sensitive one and the smart responsible one) making them completley unoriginal and boring.
P.: please state your favorite digimon season...dont lie to yourself you know, you have one.
