EDIT 2: Also, come up with a unique and inventive name for him/her

. I'd call mine Luna...[/b]
That's as inventive and fresh as yesterdays newspaper wraped around some ferret poo.
I'm sorry, you quoted me just to say that? Not only do I take offence to you wasting my time and effort by making me read such idiocy, but I also feel like you need to take a good, long look at the site guidelines. That is, assuming you have the ability to read anything longer than a single sentence like the one you quoted me on. I recommend you use your impending time on probation to learn how to post well on a forum, and to lean how to answer thread questions. Thank you very much, though, I do enjoy hitting the old Report button occasionally (stress relief, you see), and I get so few opportunities nowadays thanks to our diligent moderators...

Ahem, well. My Daemon would be a cat too. Probably a house cat. And what would I call them?

Actually, it's not from Harry Potter (though admittedly Luna Lovegood is my favourite character

). No, it's actually a roundabout pun/character description for a short story I wrote.
Luna => Moon (in Italian)
Moon => Werewolves
Werewolves => Wolf
Wolf => Red Riding Hood
I wrote a short story based on Red Riding Hood and replaced the wolf with a teenage hippy girl. The character's name was Luna, using the roundabout pun as shown above. It's just a name I really like

.
