The worst thing done to music since Sunday's Grammys.

Why no crowbar/8-track action? This episode was really quite uneventful.

We need something else similar to jello.

I thought the same.

OT: A full aquarium would be cool. Or (though it would probably be way too expensive) Ferro-Liquids are fucking awesome.

That was thoroughly boring. Would have been better had the disc completely shattered, I was surprised you guys didn't retry. Were you short on time today or what?

How dare you drop the glory that is a Will Smith CD next time. I am boycotting the next episode in order to honor my knowledge of all the words to Wild Wild West.

Its still fun if I know Graham is waiting in the wings with a crowbar. I flinched when I heard that thing hit the ground. BTW I want to do a poll to see if more than 75% of the people on the Escapist actually know what they threw on the ground was, would be interesting. Need to turn off my sarcasm.

I don't know what you folks are complaining about. That was so much warmer and more authentic than a normal drop.

You people complain about every single drop that is some generic explosion. It's "Daily Drop", not "Daily Annihilation", which would get boring fast. The point of the show is to observe in slow motion the effects of collision of different objects. It's fun to watch because of the beauty of how objects deform in slow motion.

The thing that ticks me off is that you don't just complain, but you openly insult the creators of show by being so closed minded that you actually insinuate they do these drops just because they're too lazy or stupid to just get some fragile object and smash it with the crowbar day in and day out.

I've enjoyed every drop so far, keep up the good work, LRR.

Damn, next week you're pretty much dropping my childhood.
why, whats the CD?

OT: this must be inspired because of the Grammys. I cant wait till the CD one comes up and you see a bunch of comments saying it should be a Bieber CD and it needs to get crowbarred.

Then again, I may be putting my foot in my mouth

It appears to be a Will Smith CD. When I was much younger, before I finally got into rock music. Will Smith was basically ALL I listened to. I had his first three albums that I would listen to in my portable CD player every day, just rotate them. No, I am not proud of this.

Funny to think about it now, since I ended up getting heavily into progressive rock and metal and am now a percussion major in college.

I would have rather seen another drop of the record than the 8-track which barely did anything

But the 8-track didn't deform, did it? It chipped a bit and bounced off without so much as spinning a little. I would've preferred a crowbar, since I'm a bit curious as to the specific inner workings of an 8-track (and since mom's player still works, I doubt she'd want me popping hers open.)

It was interesting to see how much force it took to make the record break just the little bit it did, though... vinyl's kinda hard to crack without trying.
