that was not even real glass (i believe)
i think it was that kind of glass they use in films to make people jump through.
and it was empty... do i have to say more?
i think the real bottle would have crashed if it was dropped sideways.
90° flat landing on the side.
but it can not allways go as you wish... anyways: keep it up! i like those drops.!!

the real bottle might be extra resistable, because it is new-years time and people who open those bottles might already be drung, so the producer of the bottles makes them especcially un-breakable... drunk people drop a lot ;-)

That was very dissipointing So the Champagne doesnt work out and we get any old empty bottle. I think we should get a redo on this whole video.

If by "any old bottle" you mean three-foot-high, two-inch thick bottle. Did you see how HUGE that thing was?

Because that's what I was expecting. We've all seen champaign burst open because of the pressure, so I was expecting something spectacular for this, beyond the normal glass breaking episode. (Though I will say that it was still quite an impressive method of shattering with the spin).

EDIT: Don't listen to all the people clamoring for more crowbar. It didn't need it, and the crowbar should be something special.

I guess this is one reason why you should have another camera filming at a different angle should the object break outside of the first camera shot.

Do you have any idea how expensive high-speed cameras are? Apart from the cheap Casios, which arn't nearly as good as the one being used for these videos... the prices are absurd.
