Are you sure it wasn't because the salt fell on its head and the pepper didn't? In the shots presented, it looks like the pepper always landed "right side" up.Imper1um said:3. The reason why the Salt broke and the Pepper didn't was because of logical transfer of kinetic energy to potential energy. The salt shaker was a little under full, and so the kinetic energy broke the bottle at the point of least resistance: the neck. Pepper has a natural "springy" property as well (it's more like a leaf than an actual mineral). It was full, so the kinetic energy was transferred into the pepper where it distributed through the entire mineral. Since it was full, there was no place of "least resistance". If they removed about 1/4 of the pepper, it probably would have broken like the salt, since the "non-packing" of the pepper would have not allowed the transfer of kinetic energy into the pepper; it would have shattered the glass.

Oh my egg on Monday, I can't wait it's like waiting for New Vegas to come out!
Nope, think that was Alex Steacy.
Sodium and water for one is epic. As for other explosive, Tyler Durden says; "Use soap"MasterRahl said:Alex w/ Crowbar = epic awesomeness
Being a nerd, I will say it's awesome to watch the crowbar after impact. Its resonance got stimulated and you can see it fluctuate back and forth as it's vibrating! (that's what I do for a living so I HAD to notice).
If there's a spin-off of this series, I hope it contains things that explode =D Such as Dry-ice bombs, magnesium in water, tin foil and drain-o (I think that's one of them but I don't go around making bombs >D )
I know Paul won't disappoint me!
