You know, I initially thought that this was a useless and stupid addition to the site. But now that I think about it, this could wind up as a great compendium for game designers or other modelers for how to animate shit breaking.

Where did you guys get that skull globe in the first place?

But DAMN. Water explosion on impact, glass slivers flying around, cute tiny splashes... That was just BEAUTIFUL. ^_^

I want to buy you a furnace...so that we can see the glass-transition states of...well, anything. Thermal shock + Paul on a ladder + yellow-and-black-taped-off-area = The untold power of god. Add an awesome slo-mo capture camera, and suddenly that untold power becomes visible.

But, as it is, it's already pretty damn awesome. Though, the Escapist seems to be hiding the Daily Drop...crafty...

DO NOT DROP AN ATARI, A GENESIS, A COMMODORE 64, OR ANY OTHER CLASSIC SYSTEMS.
On the other hand, feel free to drop an Atari Jaguar. Twice. And apply crowbar afterwards. Not even Jeff Minter could save that total piece of sh*t.

Best drop ever and I smell a crowbar for tomorrows drop.
I doubt they'd need it. There's no lid, so the contents will most likely fly out quite happily when it hits the ground, which will probably be sufficiently interesting. (Like the binders.)

That was like my visual stress relief, and I am once again, at peace with myself.
It was just so pretty *replays video*

that was awesome although it was pretty much just glass shattering it would've been cool if the base of it broke but yeah that would've been hard to do still great video

I like how the water clings to the skulls after the initial impact and starts to spiral out as the base rotates to the left.

The students had me play this one over and over! They love analyzing the physics of these drops. Great work gents!
