Hello Fellow Escapists!

Recently I've cut down on social media, deleting my twitter and cutting my Facebook friends from 104 to 30 or so. And while I love being a little less connected that way, I still find myself wanting to be on the computer, but with less to do. So I was wondering what websites you all visit daily, or often enough, and what they're about. Currently, I really only ever go to the Escapist and Cracked.com, and occasionally buzzfeed when there's an interesting quiz to take.

Newspapers. I check a couple on a daily basis. I'm also around Goodreads.com a lot. And there're a few webcomics I follow, though only a couple are daily uploads and it's not like I hang a whole lot around once I'm done reading the strip in like 20 seconds.

For me it is 9gag, deviantart, youtube, and [del]gayporn[/del] dozens of webcomics. Some other websites that I doubt will interest you are 3DTotal, Blender Artists, and CGHub.

I happily second the mention for Vice [http://www.vice.com/en_us]. It's pretty bad ass.

I forgot to mention Film School Rejects [http://filmschoolrejects.com/] and Screen Rant [http://screenrant.com/], both of which are updated daily and are surprisingly very different as far as news and articles are concerned.

Escapist for gaming shit, Encyclopaedia Metallum/Metal-Archives for heavy metal shit, Facebook just to see if anyone needs to talk to me, more than one website I'm not sure I'm allowed to say for porn stuff (includes forums), Last.Fm because I have some friends on there and YouTube for a variety of purposes. Those are the main ones that I go to daily.

I go to here, Twitter, Youtube for music and general gaming shenanigans[footnote]If you're curious, the channels I go to mostly are GassyMexican, ChilldedChaos, Seannaners, Rooster Teeths many channels and FrankieOnPCin1080p[/footnote], Daily Mail for a brief idea of whats going on in the world (And by that, I mean I read the headlines and avoid reading the actual articles because lol Daily Mail) and a few Imgur sites dedicated to gaming subreddits and what not.

Unfortunately no. I have read dozens but the ones I keep coming back to are Sequential Art, Looking For Group, Unearthed, Banished, Accursed Dragon, Romantically apocalyptic, Bear Nuts, Dao(NSFW), everything by Rukis(REALLY NSFW), and a little bit of Dr. McNinja, Meek or The Meek (I cannot remember). Other comics I discovered recently but not taken a look at are Two Kinds, ZAP, Girl Genius, Darkness Rising, War Of The Winds.

There are a few websites I visit on a regular basis that would get me a warning/banned for saying, but the SFW ones that I visit every day are just The Escapist and Imgur. I rarely post on either, but I spend a very large amount of time on both. Mostly this site.

I guess Edmodo as well, but that's something I'm forced to use for school so I don't think it counts.

Escapist and some Youtube which is basically what I've replaced Television with.

Sometimes Facebook, more so if I'm involved in a student project and my email.

I vist my Star Citizen haunts maybe once a week but that's pretty much all I do online.

I go to The Escapist and Reddit. In my old age I have come to appreciate moderators protecting me from being sneak attacked by the image of a morbidly obese woman pooing on herself, plus I really, really, really like computer games.

Occaisonally I will read The Economist to look sophisticated and interested in global buisiness affairs to my co-workers, whilst getting off on how incredibally bias they are.

In addition I read lots of webcomics.

Mainly The escapist, Youtube, Giantbomb and Google. I don't check my Facebook every day as there are times where I just want to drop off the radar and not speak to anyone, which annoys my friends and family no end for some reason.
