Zone.
Twilight Zone.
Gotcha.
Seriously, it's a favorite part of New Years. My favorite as a kid was To Serve Man (what a punchline) but now my favorite might be In His Image.

Do you have a favorite?

My favorites gotta be "The Obsolete Man", where the Librarian, who's being executed for being obsolete, tricks the Chancellor into staying with him in the room where a bomb will execute him. I don't wanna spoil it, but you can pretty much tell that the Librarian proves his point in the end. Go watch it :D

Also, your joke was terrible. I wasn't expecting the Twilight Zone, but I was expecting something that wasn't about The Twilight brand books.

For an art class, we divvied up segments of "The Invaders" to turn into pictures. It really made me appreciate how well shot that show is.

I thought you meant actual twilight, as in nightfall.
But yeah, Twilight Zone is awesome. Discovered it recently and really enjoying it.

*Sigh*
And once again I'm reminded how Twilight used to be one of my favorite words until it became Dawson's Creek meets Not-Vampires.

Twilight is best Twilight, and she's a bit disappointed.

OT: As explained before, no your joke wasn't clever, the "THE" gave it away way too easily.

Yeah...

It's a very poetic time of day to use, but now if you ever mention it when you're trying to sound captivating, people just snigger...

I love twilight too. She's second best pony, after fluttershy of course..... Oh....
You were talking about the twilight zone. Well, curses.

And no, you didn't get me. This joke has been used numerous times on the forum and the only people who would say they like twilight (the book series) on this site either are trolls or have an internet death wish.

That "joke" was immediately transparent and awful, I'm afraid. This thread has convinced me to actually try watching The Twilight Zone though, so it was worth a visit. I've only ever seen skits of the show, but from judging from a couple of the comments here it seems like it might be interesting.

Great episode. I was hoping that the Alien v Predator movies would be more like that episode: no dialogue, just acting and action. It would've been more challenging to make but it would've been more rewarding too.
The whole series (well...the seasons shot on film) were all really well shot, and I think that's why I like it so much. It's (for it's time) a cinema quality television show. They treated every episode as if it were a feature film...that's not saying that every episode was amazing, there were some duds.

It's why I like Cowboy Bebop so much too. You don't usually see such effort and integrity put into television programming. I'm getting that same feel from Game of Thrones as well.

I've seen the entire new season with Forest Whittaker, and now me and my buds are planning on viewing the entire original series now that we got that collection over the break.

As far as I go, I like "Azoth the Avenger Is a Friend of Mine" because its a freaking Conan-esque barbarian, "Cradle of Darkness" for its 'Kill ze Baby Hitlah!', and then "Harsh Mistress" for the guitar is a murderer.

Time Enough At Last

Beautifully horrifying. But there's so many great ones to choose from.

I'd also say that the late 80s series was a lot better than some people thought:

The Matrix: 15 years before the Wachowskis.

Who doesn?t love the Twilight Zone series? There may be some episodes I don?t care for like ?I Sing the Body Electric? but all in all, it?s a solid series. I started watching the show as a child and I have to thank it for showing me what you can do when you think outside the box.
