Damn it Firefox.

For the most part I like firefox, but recently I turned on my computer and started up firefox. At first everything seemed fine, but once The Escapist page, any escapist page, loaded, it would re-direct me to some new Yahoo site. I'm on IE right now and The Escapist works fine, but for some reason Firefox doesn't seem to want to work properly, is anyone else having this problem, and if so, how the hell did you fix it?

I've never had this happen to me.
I've had Firefox just not load any pages from The Escapist, but it's never re-directed me to Yahoo.

Mine was doing the same thing under Firefox.. Not sure what the problem is.

Clear your cookies.

I had an issue where the pages here would just reload over and over again, not allowing me to view content.
I think the issue was that the download of the cookie was screwed up, and that fixed it.

While you're at it, you might as well clear your entire profile. That's certainly going to fix your issue.

Never had this problem on the times I used Firefox here. I favor IE, personally. My thoughts? It's some flipping AD doing this to you.

Mine was doing the same thing under Firefox.. Not sure what the problem is.

I ended up just getting a site blocker add on for Firefox and blocking the yahoo site.

Pretty much this. Ever since I've had the new version I've hit one problem and it wasn't with the Escapist. Random redirection ftw.
