The game I'm most excited for is Dragon Age II, even though it's not a PC exclusive.
I never said it had to be a exclusive. They just have quite a few of them.

But being a 360 person I don't really keep track of PS3 games.
Well then don't lump in consoles together.

I do agree the 360 has so little this year compared to the past. Gears of War 3 and Forza 4, and that's it I'm pretty sure.

Just roll with it. Apparently for some people games just being released for the PC is already good enough.

Diablo 3!! I gotta agree, this game looks great. If it is as good of a sequel as StarCraft 2 was, then it will be insane.
You mean a sequel with 5 times less story than the original, full of retcons and plot holes, arguably written worse, and an incredibly bad Battle.net? Of course it would be insane.

Here's hoping it's not anything like Starcraft 2.
Uhh, are you sure we played the same game? The story-line was less complex, true, but it was more cinematic and better told. The campaign was also extremely varied and offered a lot of fluidity. You might want to tell me the plot holes since I didn't catch them, and what is a retcon? The battle.net was very well done, for me at least. Almost completely lag-less, not to mention people were expertly separated into groups based on skill level. I had, and am still having a lot of fun with the game. What problems did you have with Battle.net?

you liked SC2 then. I'm think of getting it, how does it compare to my fav. RTS. Warcraft 3?

Well, they are sort of alike, just have a few different focuses. StarCraft 2 has much larger armies, with fast expansions, rushes, and other things like that. Warcraft 3 was very much focused on heros and smaller armies. I like the larger armies a lot more though. Honestly, if you like StarCraft 1, you'll like StarCraft 2.

Same game, different standards for games. With good reason, I regard Warcraft 3 as the best game ever released, and it was released by the same group of people and developed in a way shorter time.

A retcon is basically going back to a previously established fact and changing it to fit to your story. Two major ones I can think of straight off the bat without having played the original SC and SC:BW during the last 10 years is the fact that, by the end of BW, Jim Raynor had completely lost any hope for Kerrigan after she betrayed him. Also, the Zeratul visions concerning the Overmind (the zerg are the good guys!). Complete, utter bullshit.

Plot holes - well, there's not much of a story going on in SC2 besides the 8 or so missions (that are still padded as hell) that actually push it forward, but I'll tell you one thing and you tell me if there isn't a huge, gaping plot hole related to it. Arcturus Mengsk was listening in on everything Tychus Findlay (and Jim Raynor, by default), was doing. No, seriously, if you can't see it your skills of perception are null.

The story is just written bad, with more cliches than there are lines of dialogue (and most of it is bad). Not on the level of SC, D2 and WC3 in any way whatsoever. Actually, I've argued this at least 10 times already, sick of it completely. Already sorry I started this. If you think SC2's story is in any way good, play Warcraft 3 and then come back to me. Hell, watch more movies.

The Battle.net concerning melee games is the only good part of it, the custom games system is fucked up beyond belief, and that was always the main selling point Warcraft 3 and it's what everyone expected to be even better with SC2. It isn't, on any level.
I do disagree with the story being bad, but I will admit it did not come close the quality of Warcraft 3's. I have actually not played a lot of the custom games, so I can't say how good they are in comparison to WC3's, but I'll take your word for it.

I'm getting a shitload of games in 2011. But if I have to pick a PC EXCLUSIVE I will pick Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad. That will be the ultimate FPS. You can't make a game that awesome on any other system. It demands the complexity of mouse and keyboard control schemes. 64 player matches, real blindfire, no hud, not even bullet counter, real blindfire, no health regeneration, innovative cover system that doesn't necessarily cover the entire body, innovative and ridiculously awesome and realistic snipers (which I know I will use the most). Awesome multiplayer mods, realistic maps made to look exactly like their real life locations etc. Fuck CoD, fuck Halo and fuck all of those fast paced - no skill mediocre shooters. Red Orchestra is the truth!

Of course the games I am looking forward too the most are Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim.
