Steam says 472 hours for TF2 and 400 for L4D2. Steam didn't start counting the time until quite a while after I bought TF2, so it's definitely much more than that. The other figure seems accurate enough, with the amount of time I've spent loading and in the lobby ¬.¬

120 or so hours on the first play through FFX. So. Much. Blitzball! Had to get Wakka's Celestial Weapon though, couldn't be helped.

Pretty sure I've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours in Super Smash Bros Melee and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle.

Played Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess all countless times, so I'm betting that adds up to something significant. Played the original Legend of Zelda and A Link to the Past, but I've only completed the former once and the latter just over halfway.

I wish there was some kinda record of how many hours I've spent on games in total over the course of my whole life - that would be interesting to see :p If I'd used that time for other pursuits, I'd probably have mastered several different languages and musical instruments by now! :D But "wasting" that time on video games was worth it ;)

Edit: Oh, also spent a bunch of time in Zombie Panic! Source.

I know it's about 9 days on Black Ops (which is about... fuck math). And I believe I spent longer on MW2.

Uhhh, that's about it. Not as huge a gamer as some people here.

Probably at least a hundred hours on a single Total War campaign. Rome, for anyone interested. And I'm pushing 65 hours right now in my FF XIII save, which is currently at about 75% Marks done and still Orphan's Cradle to complete. I plan on doing all that 100% though, so I'll probably have sunk another 10-15 hours into it by the time I'm done...

I have 1100 hours of tf2 on steam, and probably another 100 or so on the PS3 version of that as well since the christmas it's come out I've been playing it on and off with only one large break of about 3 months were I didn't touch it.

Im scared to know what my League of Legends one might be, and like the rest of you I have a shameful World of Warcraft past... (on that subject, anyone else find that the first 1 -20 lvls you ever played when you knew fuck all and it took you ages cos you didn't understand levelling; didn't that all seem more fun than the other 20 - 80 levels put together?).

17891 hours in Runescape. Yep. I played that game obsessively from when I was 11-16, and haven't touched it since. Damn. That's a lot of time.
I can beat that on the MUD I used to run:

Nalgas D. Lemur was created on Thu Oct 23 22:19:38 1997
Played 62649 hours since creation

Would be higher and with an older date, but that's when we lost all the player files when switching servers. Of course, probably 80% of that was spent idle and not actually at the computer, and 80% of the rest was just goofing off and chatting with people, and it's spread out over more than a decade, but it's a pretty decently big number. Heh.

Roughly 3,000 hours in FFXI, possibly a couple thousand more. It's been a long time, and I'm not subscribed anymore so I can't check.

There's never been a game where I enjoyed just exploring and taking in the scenery more than FFXI.

I'm sure there are people who'd look down on me for it, but I don't really care. We're all entitled to spend our free time on hobbies we enjoy.

I played TF2 for probably more than 2000h since the day it got released. It's one of the few games that pushed all the right buttons for me.

Probably something between 500 and 1000 hours in Morrowind (over the course of 5 years).

I have never repeated/ surpassed this feat with any other game and I prolly never will.

I've had my fair share of games that eat my time: (in hours) (~ = approximately)
Final Fantasy X - ~100
Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 and Birth by Sleep - ~100 each
Skyrim - ~200
Dissidia: Final Fantasy - ~250
Demon's Souls - ~150
Dark Souls - ~100
Disgaea 1, 2, 3 - No idea; hundreds probably
Yakuza 3, 4 - ~75 each
And finally, probably the one I'm most proud of:
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite - ~1500

I'm somewhat respected among the people I hang around due to these times, actually.

I have over 13,000 hours on WoW. I started a few months after release. Take that for what you want, I don't regret it, and I haven't lost anything for it.

Second place is Holic, which...I don't even remember logging almost 400 hours of it.

And third, but first to not be an MMO, is 125 hours of Neverwinter Nights.

For consoles, the only one I can confirm is FF7, at 91 hours on one file.

I don't tend to stick with games for very long, I try to play as many games as possible (I tend to finish them once, and get bored during my second time)

That's kind of a snapshot of my gaming past, not all of it is accurate. Alot of games I played and beat before they were supported by Xfire, so it may look like I didn't play them a lot.

Hmm...my longest ones would probably be:

Around 130 hours on Final Fantasy 10

Around 220 hours on Dissidia Final Fantasy

100+ hours on Devil May Cry 3
(I couldn't give a proper estimate with this one as the in game timer stops at 99:99:99)

I have about 250 hours on several different WoW characters ( the highest is only level 49, I just get bored of grinding).

In the last three years I must have spent more than that on the last three versions of Football Manager, and I don't want to know how much time I have spent playing the various iterations of Pokemon.

So in one game my highest play time is in WoW, but in a series of very similar games it's Football Manager or Pokemon

So today, I have finally reached 1000 hours played in Team Fortress 2. Thats the second longest time ive spent on one game. First being World Of Warcraft with about 3000+ hours. Just out of curiousity and discussion value; Whats the longest time you spent on one game? And do you think because of that amount of time certain people will "look down" on you and make fun of you for that? Happened to me before, and still is, because of the amount of hours I spent on Wow.
Honestly, I look down on you for this. I spent around 1000 hours on WoW over about three years but yeah I still think this is... bad.

You know you could have probably learnt a whole language with those 4000 hours or an instrument or wrote a book or socialised or gone to the gym or literally anything else that actually had some kind of significance in the real world.

Are you going to keep playing?

Don't feel bad op, I have like 1300 hours on tf2 but that's over like 3 years. So im saying it isnt too bad unless you have a 1000 hours in like 2 months.

919 hours in Counter Strike Source
721 hours in TF2
220 hours in Garry's Mod
172 hours in BF3
168 hours in L4D2
139 hours in Civ V
119 hours in Skyrim
119 hours in Fallout NV

And that doesn't count all the other games I've played for less than a hundred hours.
I also have an unknown number of hours in WoW, but have since forgotten the large amount of gametime.

Well, I spent so long on Pokémon Red that the timer broke at 255 hours.
Skyrim's currently at 237, and TF2 is at 298, though I do idle for my drops now and then.
Can't be arsed working out how long I've spent on WoW, but I've been subscribed since it was released, and I have many characters.
yikes, and i thought i played wow for a long time. i got it just around the time Burning Crusade came out, but took my sweet time levelling, so by the time i hit 70 (within 2 weeks i think even), WOTLK had come out and nobody ran any of those lv 70 instances. made me sad.
but anyway, i played fairly solidly for about 3 years, but just before Cataclysm came out, i simply lost interest. which was a damn good thing because i had just learned of Warhammer 40k, which has now taken over my life.

so total time spent on one game, for a quick recap:
Game: World of Warcraft (burning crusade, through Wrath of the lich king)
time: between 2 characters (main and primary alt), approximately 50 days. between all of the alts i tried then deleted: closer to 75 days.
time, simplified into hours: 1700+

Edit: OH! the games i currently play, i feel i should mention. the dawn of war series has cost me over 200 hours between the 3 games (i never got soul-storm on purpose).
Bioware games (Kotor, Mass effect 1 and 2) have cost me about the same amount of time, though mass effect's timer is still increasing as i go back to play different classes and make different decisions, to effect all 3 games.
Obsidian games (fallout 3, fallout: new vegas, Oblivion, Skyrim):...... i dont even want to count. the only reason i knew wow time was because they had the timer built in that gave you days to make it seem less bad. i would have to guess for these guys nearing 500 hours or more
