Damn you, Minecraft!

i dont wanna be the black sheep here but its MEH. i mean i liked the survival but once u got a home uve essentially survived. and im not all that creative so i usually make crappy things


however ive seen what other ppl make, and WOW that can be impressive sometimes

I know how you feel man. I just stopped playing it. Right now it's two o'clock in the morning and I started playing Minecraft at at about 5 o'clock. So I've been playing it for about 9 hours without realising that. I thought it was 8 o'clock or somthing like that but when I saw how late it really was, I just thought "Holy Shit!" and closed the game. It's crazy how fast the time flies when I play that game.

I watched 3 seasons of the big bang theory, 8 seasons of family guy and 5 seasons of how I met your mother while playing minecraft (theyre easy to follow while doing other stuff)

Then I deleleted all those worlds. Some accidentally, some cause I got bored of it

My little brother was completely addicted to it.Pretty sweet idea. Imagine it with awesome graphics and maybe some more weapons. I would play the shit out of that online or off. Heaps of fun I love making the tracks go up to the top of a big ass hill and making a roller coaster

One of the things I actually think makes it better is it's mediocre graphics and limited amount of weapons.

I mean, graphics wise, yes, it's not very pretty, but think of it this way, you couldn't apply the same logic (eg: pick massive blocks up and place on top of other massive blocks half the size of you) with a nicer looking game. It'd need to be more refined. At least, that's how I think of it.

Weapons wise, it'd just be too messy to have more.

Yea that is true. It's just a shame that I've been so desensitized by next gen graphics. It takes a while to break out of the whole graphics thing when I play awesome old games like RA95, Swiv and Half Life 1

I once found a Pandora style mountain. (It was floating in mid-air)
I built a stairway to it and then built a castle in the sky......That was pretty cool. Nothing bad happened though.
The first time I tried to explore a mine, the sounds of the monsters was blasted into my ear and nearly made me crap my pants the first time. The loud sounds have gotten me killed a few times, completely destroying my progress. GRRRRRR!

Edit: Oh yeah, I once built a kick ass, HUGE Cathedral on the side of a mountain, complete with windows and an alter, then I somehow erased my progress the moment I finished. I was so pissed.
