The town converges at the local bar to decide its fate...
Slamming a glass against the table, Amy called the loud, boisterous crowd to attention. Drinks had been served and passed around, for free today, in honor of old Aczy and the Father. Amy had thought in advance and watered the alcohol; these men would be clear of head when deciding their fate.
"Alright!" She shouted as the crowd quieted. "You all know why we're here. Our town is in dire straits. We've two courses of action before us; outlined by Aczy and the Father. As they both now reside in the halls of our Lord, their respective disciples will reiterate. I shall be a proponent for Ace's plan, and our newly raised Father Jon will be for the old Father's plan.
"Regardless of whichever plan is chosen, I believe we can agree on one thing; a messenger must be sent to Carson City, to alert the authorities. If these bandits, Indian or otherwise, are bold enough to assault and destroy an entire town, I would assume that they have far superior numbers. We cannot face this threat alone; the Army must get involved.
"Should any of you have any thoughts, it is your town as well. I give up the floor to the first to stand."
With that, Amy leaned against the bar counter, watching over her patrons.
