I thought that the horses were all gutted?
Are correct!
I think they told you to go to the farm because the user who played the stable owner quit, whereas we have someone playing as the farmer.

The train rumbled past a small stone bridge as the Engineer exclaimed their departure. With little regard for how safe it was, much less how much it would hurt, Rutherford leaped, foot first off the drivers plate straight onto the stone ballast on which the tracks resided. Falling promptly on his side with a "Oopfh!", Rutherford was off the train. He stood, winded and bewildered at how exhilarating the action was, and then regretted it with a sharp and then throbbing pain shooting up the one side of his chest.
"Ye'r next, feller!" shouted the Engineer to Ethan.

Amy hopped over the counter, catching the man's shoulder. "Sir! Please, just one more question!"

As the man looked mystified at her, she swallowed, full of embarrassment, and asked; "Which direction did the man leave? We're trying to... discover where they're coming from. How many there are, that sort of thing. We've already lost good men to them... and we need to get prepared."

She paused. "Any help you can give us would be... much appreciated."

" oh jesus..." ethan didn't even have time to think as the train quickly sped by, so, with his eyes closed, his mind racing, he jumped. the whole world seemed to rattle as he hit the dirt, his head shacking like a gift on christmas day. when he finnaly opended his eyes, he realized he was not infact [in fact?] dead, as Ethan thought he was, just very, very badly shaken up and battered. nothing was broken, but then it dawned on him. he lost his hat. frantically, Ethan began searching the area were he fell, and found it nestled ontop of a nearby cacti, like at the top of a coatrack.

The train whizzed past in a flurry of bark and clattering, speeding on its way down the track to wherever, and two men stood near the track, about a hundred feet apart and both looking rather blustered and dazed.
Rutherford grabbed the side of his chest as the effects of the adrenalin faded. Half moaning, he thought aloud
"Oh, that's going to be sore for a while... . ."
He started towards Ethan, who appeared to be looking for something. Beyond him he saw some large buildings, and then realized mostly around the area where they were, large warehouses and mill-like buildings enclosed the railroad area. An industrial corner of the city.

Nate looked at the ladies hand on his shoulder, and turned to face her.

"We were riding south-east, towards ya'll. Those men jumped us they were heading nearly due west. The one that ran off, far as I remember, headed east, by north-east. I was too busy firing and dodging. Maybe Abby remembers better than me. Come on out, we'll talk to her."

Jon shrugged. It seemed no one was willing to join him. He decided to report to the sheriff before he left.

At the door to the sheriff's office, he called out "Anyone home?"

Calm yourself about no one leaving. Give it more than a day. Give Flying-Emu and Freebiewitz time to say "No we aren't going"

Not sure what to do next Edward just nursed his milk and sat down listening to any passing news that may or may not come.

"Well might as well go with the man hopefully he wont fall and trip on his own shoes."
He said to himself.
"Okay count me I'll come with, but uh I'm not sure how much good I'll do."
He said as he put down the empty glass, he whiped the milk mustache off his face.

Amy sighed, rubbing her temples. The stress was starting to get to her. Ace dying, half the people she knew running off on fool quests to save the town? And now, cattle drivers riding into town.

"All in a days work..." She supposed, grimacing as she followed the man out to his sister, girlfriend, wife, companion, Amy didn't know. And she didn't particularly care.

"I need a bath..." she sighed inwardly.

Sorry to be inconvenient, but I was busy at the weekend. So, with no further delay, I shall go!

The sheriff wasn't around, so Jon made his way outside. He saw Edward leave the bar, and gave him a nod

"So you're coming after all? Hope you don't mind, but we'll have to travel on foot. If your stuff's ready, we'll leave now"
