Dark Souls (AKA: Demon's Souls 2)

If you've played Demon's Souls - the hit PS3 exclusive - and enjoyed it as much as me, then you're probably shaking with excitement. I know I am. The graphics have been ramped by the looks of things, there's more varied environments and colour schemes, and all new enemies to take on. Just post anything of interest to do with Dark Souls below. I'll start off.

Yeah, I heard about this from the PA blog. Since I own an X-Box, I never really got the chance to play Demon's Souls, so the fact that Dark Souls is multi-platform is rather exciting for me. Of course I probably won't be able to afford a triple A title on launch day at all, but that's beside the point.

It was a day one purchase for me already, but with this trailer and the other news that I've heard(the worlds will all be connected to each other instead of through a hub) I'm just getting even more excited.

I wish they would use a feudal Japan setting with DS mechanics rather than the same look we've already seen.

Since I only own a 360, I'm really excited for Dark Souls. I always wanted to play the first game, but never felt that a PS3 would be a wortwhile purchase for the few exclusive titles I'd want to play on it, so it's really good news that the sequel will be going multi-platform.

I'm excite but it worries me the fact the developers stated the game is going to have an open world, which i bet will make the game "look" great but the dungeons won't be as intricate or focused as in Demon's Souls and its hub world system
