I once saw a picture of...how best to describe it, crudely drawn bestial necrophilic hermaphrodite rule 34 porn of Marge and Bart simpson (don't ask me to go into more detail, please don't). Other than that I've only seen more...obscure things, surprise pictures of facial tumours and autopsies, not to mention uh...Harlequin. The rest I've heard about (blue waffle, slender man, offended page, goatse) but there's no way in hell I'm looking them up, I just wish somebody could say what's suppose to be so terrifying about the slender man to me.

Slender man, or any old mythic story is designed to get into your mind, if you immerse yourself in the story then it freaks you out (which most people do) however some people can read/watch/hear something and not get fazed about it because they have a different mind set or they are thinking in a different more lateral way.
