What's your take on it and advice would be helpful im in a bit of a 'thing'.

Basicly she is a Friends Girlfriends Older Sister. There 10 years between us and alot flirting by text and email.
Go for it, older women are more fun in the sack. They know what they want, how to enjoy themselves, and they're not ashamed. Hit that.

If you get along then I don't think it should be a problem. I've tried dating older and younger and I personally have found it to be a bit of a hassle if the person isn't within a year or two range. Part of it has to do with just being of the same generation and liking/understanding the same things. And people always seem to be in different stages of their life and have much different expectations within a 5 or so year gap between ages. But if it works for you than go for it.

SO if losing sleep isn't the worst that could happen.....what is??
I dunno, but not getting any sleep sounds much better. ;)

You have my thanks, this is as much my win as yours.

Ten years seems like a lot to me...so I don't think I have any advice but: be relaxed and see where things go.(Bland but true.)

If both individuals are adults there is really no problem. Outside that don't do what would mess up a relationship between you and her if she was closer to your age

What ever you do, do not say 'You have a rocking body for an older gal'
Tried it once, didn't work.

Seriously - if she already likes you then don't change anything! It'll sort its self out! Good luck!

I was 24. She was 42. It lasted 1 year then we split up good friends. I'll never regret it. 'Nuff said.

As for tip and tricks; there are none. Just basic common sense. If she's your type and you really don't mind her age, then don't miss an opportunity that might be awesome.

There is one line you can use though. It is both humorous and actually dead-on:

"Are you aware that teenagers:
-pay huge money in cosmetics,
-train like crazy,
-take weird hormones,
-even undergo invasive surgery(-ies),
to look like you?"

That is sure to land you some milf points. ;-)

According to your profile, you're 29. So this woman would be around 40, I guess?

My response? Go for it, if she's interested. There's no reason why an age gap should be a major problem, if you both care about each other and want a relationship. I'm only 19 myself and have no experience with dating, let alone older women, so I can't offer advice. But I have a friend who, when he was in his late twenties, was dating another family friend who's a divorcee in her mid-forties. Admittedly the relationship did end eventually, though she does have two kids (my brother's friends) and he ended up dating a former colleague of his who he now lives with...

This tangent isn't really helping, is it? Anyway, go ahead, go for it if you reallydo want to be with her, and good luck to the both of you, I say :D.

You lucky bastard....

Oh well, I would assume if she's texting, she's interested in you, so go for it.

Every man must date at least one cougar in his life, it is like downing a huge dungeon boss. You are going to get a shitload of experience.

Older women are definitely better. Less drama with them by a freakin' MILE! But that goes both ways; no game-playing (emotional) or lying.

They're usually established - i.e., financially, career, etc - so there's less of the BS in that regard (but be prepared to keep up your end of the relationship, as you should). No freeloading. Be mature, be honest, and treat her with respect... because she damn well deserves it.

May i ask how old you are?

I mean, if for example you are 15 and she is 25, i suggest you get out of there because there is no way that's going to end well.

Then again, if you are 25 and she's 35 then just roll with it.

Well... it could be a bit weird, though only cos it's not a particularly common thing. But i'd say that if you are both into each other, go for it.
