David Tennant for Dr Banner

During the week Edward Norton and Marvel seemed to have fallen out of touch, leaving Marvel to recast the role of the Hulk. Current rumours are that Joaquin Phoenix, Nathan Fillion and Adrian Brody are all in contention, but there is one name that is currently floating under the surface, David Tennant is also rumoured to be in contention.

I would like to make my position clear, I blamed RTD for any issues with the Tennant era series, David Tennant managed to somehow give heart to what should have been a meandering bit of fan gratification, he has the heart and intensity to carry the role of the Hulk.

So here is my campaign, I want everyone who would stand behind DT to put this logo at the bottom of their blog or on your facebook as a show of our power. Come on get involved:

No offense to tennant because he is awesome on a stick, but I just dont see him measuring up to norton's rougher scientific kind of image. Tennant gives a very...refined aspect to intelligent characters where as norton bring a charming tint of redneck to the role which worked incredibly well imho.

You know what? I don't mind what they do. It'll be interesting though and I hope it'll be a different take and not just a follow on with a similar take on the idea of The Hulk.

I think it would make a nice change of pace though, the Eric Banna Banner was very different to the Norton Banner so it would be acceptable... in a round about way

I agree, Norton was the best Banner this side of Bixby. I'm not really sure Tennant could match the same type of vibe that Norton gave.

As a David Tennant fangirl, I am completely, totally behind this. I don't even like the Hulk, but from what I've seen of him, I think that'd be a cool match.

I need to watch those movies again its been a while since i have seen them i remember enjoying the first one when i was 16.

If i could cast Bruce Banner i would give the role to Shane Carruth he wrote/directed and stared in one of my favorite sci fi movies "Primer"
