Games Workshop does make factions DLC, but Relic will most likely not.

I can see them being a bit imba when they first launch (CoH2's OKW, for example) but they probably won't charge for it.

I'm excited about the mix of DoW1 and DoW2 - I genuinely liked both games. Bringing base-building back is definite plus in my book, though, as I consider DoW2 more of a real-time tactics game, rather than real-time strategy game (not only due to the lack of basebuilding, but that's a strong contributing factor).

Anyway, this should be good. I hope it is. Lol.

The wraithbone structures look really fucking cool in the trailer. Very nice. I'll wait to see gameplay and reviews before putting any money down, but I'm optimistic.

Games Workshop don't make any DLCs, the devs do. Games Workshop just sells the license to all and sundry because they need the money.

Not that excited honestly. Didn't like DoW2 and have been falling out of love with 40k since 6th Edition and the blandenising of the TTG.

The trailer was cool as fuck, don't get me wrong, but I'm so over Games Workshops IPs at this point. WHFB was the only thing I was still in it for and they killed that.

Pisses me off that the only factions are the Terrans, Protoss, and Orks.

I mean, come on guys. At least throw in Chaos or something.

OT:
The teaser gave me a stiffy, this is the first time they've done something with the sycophant lore that wasn't embarrassing. I really hope they use the same dual-player story mode as DoW2, that kicked ass. I played the whole thing with my broseph (I was the traitor :( ).

Also, when is Space Marine 2 coming?

looks pretty cool but im not getting my hopes up before i see some actual gameplay.
am i the only one that was surprised to see the space marines getting their ass kicked? considering they are the poster boys of 40K. although it does show better how dark 40K is

While I am excited about the game and very glad it's happening, I am a bit apprehensive as well. Reading through the interviews that also surfaced, outlining the basic elements of the game, the word "streamlilned" comes up a bit too much. And then I get flashbacks to Command & Conquer 4, then get sad, and then decide not to think about it too much until more concrete info is made available...

I actually think that is a good thing. DoW2 was rather clunky with all of it's abilities and micro. It felt more like a MMO then RTS at times.

Please, like 'It was Chaos all along!' won't be the big twist. Just like every other 40K game ever.
