Usually I daydream right after I wake up on the weekends. If I wake up and I can just lay there, I usually try to continue my dream.

[sup]It's never the same though...[/sup]

I day dream a lot. I mainly day dream at my job and at school. The reason, almost everyone in high school is as interesting a brick, and my job isn't bad but it is boring.

Usually my day dreams start with, "It would be cool if..."

Yes, me. VERY me. I tend to picture books or movies that I've seen recently, then twist them and combine them and make stuff up for them. Then I jot them down in my notebook, butI haven't gotten the patience to write a book yet.

Has anyone else been told they look really intense when they daydream? Somebody once started avoiding me like the plague and when I finally asked them about it turned out they thought I had it in for them. Apparently I was glaring at them for around 20 minutes.

my daydreams always start out as fantasies, and then turn into something weird, like what if there was a society that evolved on a planet with very few resources, so they had to recycle everything, how much different stuff would they invent, or what if there was a planet that WAS flat and everybody thought it was round.

I still daydream and I daydream constantly. I'm currently daydreaming about some Escapist member, reading my post and relating to it, even though in their mind, they think I'm weird.

I just finished a section in my human behavior class about dreams. Everyone day dreams, day dreams are our brains way of resting in between concentration cycles, if you were to concentrate on one subject for too long without daydreaming of some sort, you would fry your brain like an overheated cpu.

OP: I daydream and let my mind wander more than most people to the point that it is noticed, and when they ask what I was thinking about they seem surprised when I answer something like, "Do you think aliens are currently using horsedrawn buggies as their main mode of transport?"
