but movie piccolo doesn't do this, to make his minions he needs a blood contraption with emperor pilaf's female sidekick but not pilaf or the dog themselves

Yeah...that looks bad compared to the actual show. However, I wonder how good the movie would be if nobody had ever ever heard of Dragonball Z.

I have not seen the movie yet though, but I may see it for the shear laughability.

Okay, watching that shit for the second time, here's my question.

Why did he say "kameY, hameY, ha!" and the FLY?! I think that in every single episode they used Kamehameha, it PUSHED THEM INTO GROUND. There's a reason why they rarely (if ever) use it mid-air - aim would be terrible.

For some reason I expected that scene to be at least 30 minutes long.

Actually to be more like the show, it had to last at least 4 episodes, so 2 hours, with at least 35 minutes of krillin trembling and looking up for some reason.

And Gohan looking like he's about read to cry saying at random intervals "Daddy...". And Vegeta looking pissed spouting out random sentences making sure to call Goku "Kakarot".

And then 4 more scenes where Frieza dies and is finished off.

Oh, wait, wrong story arc. Okay then, 40 minutes of dialogue between Goku and Piccolo. Yeah, he died, but Goku would rez him, Piccolo will try to backstab him, and Goku will punch through his stomach!!


Now, back to waiting for Dragon Ball Kai. They won't water the content...

quite the opposite from the sounds of it. I don't know how I feel about them "streamlining" the show. Remastering, voice rerecords and HD are all cool, but even with all it's pacing issues, I love that show the way it is. It's kind of heartbreaking that they want to chop it up. I guess it doesn't matter to me too much, I still have all the old episodes in all their glory on DVD.

If you watch the whole movie, it's really funny, and I don't mean "This is so bad it's funny." I mean they put a lot of comedy in it. There is, however, only really one actual part that could be considered DB, though, and not just random action movie.. well, two parts. One, when they were looking for Roshi's Dragonball, there is a stack of porn mag's, and they make a joke about it. Two, for about 1 minute when Picolo and Goku fight, it's just huge amount of energy being thrown around, and looks how I imagine a DB movie made to actually cater to the fans would look.

Well, if more of you fucking listened to my posts on all 20 of the 'DB Movie: Will it be Good or Bad' threads, you'd have saved some money, time and some decency.

Instead people spent money and fuelled the industry to either fit in with other people or for the "I went to laugh at it" bullshit excuse.

Congrats, you are the Adrian's of the film industry. Whether you whine on here about it or not, the film makers have your money and WILL assume you liked it, that they're awesome for making it and that you want another making to ruin more of the original source asap.
