Now we all know there are just certain online multiplayer games out there that will always have people playing on those severs, (*Cough* WoW *Cough*.)But there are times when our old favorite games that have an online multiplayer that no one ever plays. So I was wondering what old games that you guys/gals miss that have lost their online players for the most part?

CoD servers are only full of fail now. 24/7 POW Camp team death matches over-bloated with bogus mods (DURRRR Rifles only nubs) with servers located somewhere deep in the heart of the Congo.

UO, thankfully, has a few left.

Call of Duty World at War's zombie maps are slowly dying. It makes me sad because those things are a blast to play, but you can only get Richtofen if you have four people. Good luck finding that many now. So sad.

Unreal Championship 2. Still has a better multiplayer than any FPS that has come out, but nobody plays it. I wish they'd put it on the arcade. Lost Planet (EC & Colonies) are also quite dead, the only people playing are laggy Japanese people that still, after 2 years of playing, think they're awesome.

Get yourself the PC version and download the free cutom edition upgrade, still fit 'n' kicking over there.

PS. I haven't had this problem with any games I play. UT/2k4 still have plenty of players, hell, even Quake still has thousands of servers sitting there, waiting for you...

Tried that once, but I got a lot of "server is running a different version" errors - was I doing something wrong? (playing Halo CE online again would be kick ass)

Red Faction Guerrilla was really fun online but I cant get a single game anymore.
Its a shame because the matches were always pretty hectic with all that destruction.

I do see it from time to time, which only makes me more and more anxious for the possibility of Gearbox making Timesplitters 4 :D

Gearbox? - the Timesplitters franchise now belongs to Crytek (because they bought over Free Radical when they went bankrupt), so if anyone will be developing Timesplitters 4, then it will be Crytek UK (which consists of former members from Free Radical)
