Your review was very enlightening and honest.
More then half of what you said within the video holds aspects I completely agree with.

The love triangle in this was by far, the biggest downfall of the game. It took me out of the immersion and made me resent Ellie because of it. They probably did this just to get us more engaged in the story or something, but really it felt like a slap to the face.

I also liked how you stated that this game got repetitive with the combat and nearly killed the tensity because you knew when enemies would come out (and that the atmosphere was not creepy at all...) Apart from that, the gameplay, graphics, and sound along with the atmosphere is indeed flawless and I really enjoyed those parts.

Sadly, I feel like Dead Space 3 doesn't deserve a 8 out of 10. It's more like a 7, if not 6. When you go back on what the game is really about and replace it with full on action, dumb down characters like Ellie along with adding co-op which ruins the immersion of being scared.. those rank down the score for me. The ending in this especially takes it down even lower, but these are just my major nit picks. Your review was still grand, and indeed spot on. Well said friend.

I was thinking 7.5 when i started to write the script for the review. What changed my mind was the fact that i really wanted to play the game again. Normally i am all about the story and its one of the first games in quite a while i have wanted to replay for the gameplay alone.

But yes a 7.5 would probably better represent my feelings towards the game. Thanks for watching it!
