I repeatedly slammed an aerosol can into a persons skull to the point of them vomiting some weird orange color and passing out. I won't get into the scenario, but we're still best friends.

i completely dislocated someone's fingers when they tried to do that stupid hand torture trick on me they were all bent back and stuck backwards on-top of his knuckles pointing towards his wrist
he had to go to hospital for that, other than that i'm pretty easy going i don't get into allot of fights or accidents involving other people

now if you want a list of things that happened to me on the other hand... that's another story entirely lol

For being the site with the biggest collection of hardcore nerds I've been to, the stories some of the guys here tell are something out of a movie. Like that guy who jumped down 20-feet to land on a moving train, and then ran home.
meh, i can break your arm and neck in a single movement if your standing in the right stance
the human body is rather fragile if you know a couple of pressure points
Heard lots of people talk about pressure points, yet I've yet to see anyone use pressure points in an MMA fight. I'm using MMA fight as an example because that's the closest thing to simulated real combat I can think of (since we're talking about pressure points, who are 'legal'). And yes, I have had MMA and kickboxing fights myself and trained with respectable gyms. Not trying to pull any strings, but one of the thing the trainers liked to joke about were things like pressure points and other things that we've effective proof of.

Also, the MMA fighters have been the nicest guys I've ever met. Talking with many TMA-practioneers have left a bad aftertaste in my mouth due to their silly claims. They (you) might feel the same way about bone headed MMA-guys though.

Ohwell, I'm sidetracking this thread :<

I broke a guy's elbow and nose in a fight, he came at me with a knife. It's a miracle, but I only got a small (almost un-noticeable) scar between my left hand's nameless and long finger.

Just to be a smart ass: Can anyone reply to the OP if they never killed a person? I mean, can you cause a deadly injury without it being, well, deadly? Also, I didn't realize there were different levels of 'deadly.' It either is or isn't. A person is either dead, or not. /smart-assiness

OT: I'm a total pansy, and the worst damage or injury I've every caused to a human was to myself (Go failed Tae Kwon Do kick!).

I once launch a tennis ball at my friends balls at 60 mph. He was on the ground for like 10 minutes and went to the hospital later. Doctor said his package was ok though, just bruised a bit. He would've killed me if i gave him a do-it-yourself vasectomy...

I think you can cause a deadly injury without it being deadly, i'm not a linguistic(8) expert but i'm fairly sure about that.

For being the site with the biggest collection of hardcore nerds I've been to, the stories some of the guys here tell are something out of a movie. Like that guy who jumped down 20-feet to land on a moving train, and then ran home. And about 20% of the users here have an IQ of 150.

But if that really happened, leave the last two sentences out next time you tell the story -
" I left his ass there. He's got the balls to pull a knife on someone. hes got the balls to suffer.". I can't even think of any fictional character that could pull those lines off.

OT:
Ugh, not much. Maybe a broken nose, rib or something non-fatal like that. Kicked a guy in the throat once, that was scary (thought he couldn't breathe).
Oh, and fooling around with a friend once, drunk, I tripped him into falling on his back head on concrete. Thought I killed him.
Not everyone has been a nerd for their whole lives, back then when i was still training karate i hated physics didn't care about philosophy or anything math related now my life style has changed so much that you probably wouldn't know it was me if you would have known me back then and would see me now. Oh and now days i love those things that i said i used to hate. Basically i used to be Dumb martial artist and now days i'm a huge geek.
One: It dosent take much to defend yourself, if you take the time to learn. two: Your opinion vs mine, when i experienced it. three: the last two sentences are truth and not tough guy lines. If you do something, you better be prepared for the consequences. Yeah i may be a nerd at times, but im also a nerd that likes guns and can easily make a one inch grouping at 300 yards with a 30-06. Not even a "hard" shot rifle wise.
Well, I was wrong then. Sorry about that, but you wouldn't be the first nerd to lie on the internet about himself so forgive my suspicion. That's a badass story, but I still think those seemed like tough guy lines. No matter though! Good thing you're here to actually tell the tale. I would have pissed myself and given up everything if I had a choice.

And yes, I know it doesn't "take much to defend yourself". I've been training combat sports for many a year, staying with kickboxing/MT and MMA. I have tried several others, but found them to be too much bullshit to be frank, or plain ineffecient techniques based on theory. I will acknowledge krav maga though, there's a lot of nasty hidden in that box of chocolates.

I just find it a bit weird that I'm often the most "badass" guy people know (coming from them) + that I'm a big geek too, but what I can do and have done pales in comparison to many other escapist geeks. I find myself thinking "what are the chances?".

And if I fight 'on the street' I use.. well, punches, somewhat technical wrestling, trying to keep my balance and my head straight. Nothing fancy, because that will get my ass beat. That someone actually pulls of the magical ninja stuff some people describe here just seems so surreal.

It wasn't that serious, but once a friend and I found some old surgical tubing in a closet we were cleaning out at school. We decided to see how much at stretched to I tied one end to a metal railing while he started pulling it back. I must not have tied it very well because the knot came undone and the tubing flung back and hit him in the leg. Gave the guy a really nasty bruise, but nothing more.

I've had a burst appendix, but that happened during the surgery to remove it.

OT: I'm not a violence person, when I was younger I kicked my brother a lot (we got into fights all the time), but that's it. I've done worse to myself (I pulled a nerve in my neck, hit my knee with the nail-pulling end of a hammer, launched over my handlebars and onto a drain (those big metal ones on the side of a street with the grate over them, or more accurately, those big ones with the metal grate over them) which scraped my hands and knees pretty bad (bleeding, bruises, cuts, scabs, pretty much everything but structural damage).

I've never done worse than that to another person (I'm a clutz and a de-facto pacifist, most of my injuries were self-inflicted).

Nothing major other than the usual biting kicking and scratching. Well, I made pissed off my brother and he attempted to stab me with a pencil, but hes an idiot and ended up accidently stabbing himself in the hand. (He was holding it backwards...)

Why are you so eager to judge people? Sure there might a little bit of flavor added or he or she might have not said that what he or she said but why would you lie? What do you get from lying in the internet?

Trolling i understand but lying i don't.
