Personally I wouldn't buy it, I don't think superhero games are very good. Wolverine was one of the better ones and all it merited from me was a resounding "meh..."
I dare you to play X-Men 2: Rise of the Apocalypse. I double-dare you! Do you read Bible?!

*bla bla bla*

AND I WILL CARRY MY VENGENCE UPON YOU!! *BLAM BLAM BLAM*

Just kidding, but X-Men 2: RotA is a freakin awesome Hack and Slash.

Also, Deadpool is in it, from what I've heard. I forgot where I put my CD, so I can't finish the game to see it...
I played some of that game, and it was fun, but it didnt do anything for me
What were they supposed to do for you? Your homework? Laundry?

Those two games (X-Men 2 and Marvel Alliance) prove that hero games (as long as they are not film tie-ins) can be good. As long as Raven makes them. I mean, they even made the Wolverine game playable. I think that the game got better reviews than the movie itself, actually.
Actually, thats relative. You believe that they proved it can be good, I think that they were shit. So its relative to the individual.
Majority > Person. Thank God it's this way.
Yes go with that, be sucked into a majority and never think again. Have fun with that.
Ah, so you're the kind of person who won't like anything popular just because it's popular? I hope you see the irony.
No, I'm one of those people who plays games to have fun, and those games weren't fun for me.
So I didn't like them. Unlike you, who obviously just collects the popular games in order to meet some sort of status quo.

You know how many people think like you do?

So you don't think either. Think of the hypocrisy. Oh, wait, if what you are saying is true, then you don't care about it. Hypocrisy is also popular.

Also it sounds strange that a person with Oscar Mayer says something about being sucked into a majority...

Look at me, I'm a hippy rebel, war is bad, m'kay. Liking things that are popular is stupid, m'kay. Now I'll go back to play Sonic and the Dark Knight - the ultimate paradox, where idiots buy because it's popular, and others hate it because it's popular to hate it.

Jesus Christ, why people with such a mentality still exist? Some things are popular because they are good. And a lot of people like them, because it has found a good niche.

You misunderstand. If you didn't like those games because you didn't find them fun, fine. It just seemed like you didn't like them specifically because others did.

Deadpool seemed really cool to me, especially after research.

A bit confused about why they portrayed him in the movie as they did, however (in the end)

They should write all his dialogue to show that he thinks he's the main character
My only problem with this is it would require him NOT being the main character...

Man, I really hope they go through with this....and make it good.

Well then, I like Beyond Good and Evil. If I'm with the majority, then why did the game bring losses, because people were not buying it?

Oh, and the majority says Quake Wars was a step back compared to Wolfenstein: ET. And I like it more. Your theory is crashing and burning.

Actually, that was Abdeus. Your response is what drew me to conclude that you didn't like it because it was popular.

But whatever, it was clearly just a misunderstanding on both our parts.

This all really depends on how good the game turns out to be, the character itself doesnt have a massive following the likes of wolverine. The game design would decide whether or not it could be carried alone by deadpool.
From what I hear he has a huge following, even a show or two in the UK.

Seriously though, this sounds plain awesome, especially after playing their Wolverine game. One thing I hope they do, is allow you to use your blown off limbs as weapons to beat your enemies to death with. That would just be awesome.
Yes! Yes, Yes, Yes. And maybe a 'harass blind servant' button/combo as well.

First of all, saying a superhero game can't be good is just plain stupid. A game is good or bad, it has nothing to do with superheroes. Want an awesome superhero game? Freedom Force! Also, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and I've heard good stuff about some of the Spiderman games. Clearly, the presence of superheroes doesn't make the game good or bad by default...

As for Deadpool, he's definately not a mainstream character. This is both good and bad. Bad because brand recognition might be low, good because it gives the devs more freedom. Also, Deadpool is freakin awesome. He's got a fairly messed up history, having started out as a terminal cancer patient, went through genetic upgrades that backfired, died a few times, went insane and had a romantic relationship with Death. Also, the man wields Dual Pistols AND Dual Katanas! That's pure win right there!

Deadpool would also open up interesting possibilites in regards to player interaction considering his habit of breaking the 4th wall.

I'd definately give this a look if it ever got made. He was easily my favourite character from the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and X-men: Rise of Apocalypse. (Yes, you could unlock him as a playable character).

Of course they will give him a video game. They are going to sell this guy out to whoever wants his face. There will be dead pool video games, action figures(more anyways), kid's pajamas, lunch boxes, and I'm pretty sure he will get his own bloc in the Saturday morning cartoon line up. You will hate this guy from here on. His face will haunt you every time you enter Walmart.
