What happens when Nolan North retires? What will video games be like in the future? So many questions.....

I'm not a comic book fan, and while Deadpool is funny I feel like they try to hard to make him whimsical and humorous. Like, since every other superhero is a hard-ass they decided they have to make Deadpool so over the top to counterbalance everything. The wacky nature of his character tends to get stale after a while, especially all the 4th wall breaking.

Marvel films tend to be live action so I doubt it, although I could be wrong. If I am wrong and the game is tied in with the rumoured film then I have even more reasons to be more sceptical than I already am after watching the trailer, although the trailer was no where near as bad as I expected.

I imagine that when he retires they'll patch together new voiceovers from his previous games, like in that movie, I forget what it's called...

As for Deadpool, I think a lot of it depends on who is writing his dialogue. As you say he can be funny, but when people make it too obvious with the fourth wall stuff it just comes across as trying to hard.

Just last week, I was thinking that there really needed to be a good Deadpool game. He's my favourite comic book character, and I'm really looking forward to this. From the look of the website and trailer in general, it seems they've created a fantastic Deadpool, and I'm relieved they've gone with the classic comic version rather than the Wolverine: Origins movie version (although he was brilliant until the end, I suppose). Bring on more trailers!

The only way I can see this ending well is if it ends up feeling a lot like DMC.

I doubt its a tie in, and the movie will be going into production in 2013. But I think they're trying to raise deadpool's profile before the film, couple of people on this thread didn't even know who he was.

Actually the lip sewing isn't what pissed me off. In fact in the first Deadpool comic that showed his creation, the head of the project had his lips sewn shut because he was so annoying. But when he escaped and became a merc he cut the stitches out. So that was the only part they got right. The par that pissed me off was the fucking wrist blades and the cunting lazer eyes.

with what little i know of Deadpool, this would not even surprise me at all, even if it was just a section of the game the suddenly went JRPG.
