Deadpool Movie

While it has been a bit quiet lately im going to choose to remain slightly optimistic.

who is deadpool. like all of a sudden, like last 2 months or so, there has seemingly been a surge in deadpool. a few months ago i had never heard of him, then all of a sudden he is poping up all over the place. on different sites etc.

Well ill give you a short history lesson.

Deadpool was created in the early 90's as a ripoff of a DC character who was a ripoff of another Marvel character. Between then and about autumn of 2010 Deadpool stayed popular within the comics fanbase for stuff like this.

And his popularity is such that he has the largest dedicated character page on TvTropes [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Deadpool].

Anyway he really started to pick up fans when he made his appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, where every inch of his character was on display. And the people loved it.

Nolan North is the voice of Deadpool. He voiced him in MVC3 and he does an great show in Hulk Vs wolverine.

If you note the videos description. may 12, 2009. "Deadpool is pure gold. C'mon, Deadpool movie with Ryan Reynolds!! No, make that a trilogy." Its 2012 pretty much and we are still waiting.

Hey, I only saw the first one, and that was when it first hit.

Willingly, that is. I kinda got hijacked into seeing Episode 3.

So I'm only slightly mad.

I didn't know there was a Deadpool movie until now. If there is, I don't have much faith in it after seeing how Hollywood handled Deadpool in X-Men: Origins. Then again, that movie was shit to begin with.

I'd like for some good forth wall breaking fun, possibly insulting Wolverine Origins. I wouldn't like Reynolds to be dead pool because fuckin' GREEN LANTERN, that's why.

Actually he would make a pretty decent deadpool. Ryan Reynolds didn't work as Hal Jordan because Jordan's character is at his core a serious guy and trying to make Ryan Reynolds serious is not gonna work. But as Deadpool is a trash talking smart-ass that character is someone he might be able to pull off.

UH...dude, Deadpool's character is actually pretty much like Van Wilder.
