But let's be honest, that's what everyone who wanted a Deadpool movie wanted it to be.

The only thing missing from the trailer is a 4th wall break (I was expecting it from the origin part of the story like Deadpool interrupt if we believe the sappy origin).

Also Colossus and Magik(?) are in it? Oh and cool that blind woman is also in it too (I forgot her name but she sorta like a friend to Deadpool despite how nasty Deadpool teat her at time).

He kind of did with the "Cue the Music" line and "I'm going to touch myself tonight" line (no one was around to say that to and he was looking at the camera when he said it).

OT: Lookin good. I'm far more excited for this then any man should be for a movie and that trailer did nothing to make my faith waiver. It looks silly, over-the-top, and juvenile; everything I could want from a Deadpool movie.

Wow. This looks really stupid. Like AVGN movie stupid. Like 3D animated Sponge Bob movie stupid. They tried so hard to be "Oh such meme! Many LOLs! Great Random!" that those jokes are even worse than Melissa Mccarthy's "I'm fat and bitchy" joke.

I can just tell this movie is going to tank. Hard. It'll have a dedicated cult following sure, but this is going into Wikipedia's Biggest Financial Bombs of all Time article before too long.

Shame the humor doesn't have the same sort of wit displayed in the animated series Deadpool. I still haven't gotten over the 'K word.'

I'm not sure it's actually possible to make Deadpool work outside of the comic medium... But this seems like a solid attempt. I'm not sure it's going to work, but I get the feeling it's going to be kind of like Watchmen - in that they did what they could in terms of staying loyal to the source material while translating it to another medium.

I'm not expecting an instant classic.

I'm merely hoping for an hour and a half of entertainment.

I dunno, the film looks like it could use some darker elements too, like Deadpool's original run. The humour is better when he can turn disturbingly psychopathic at any moment. Endless "Lol so random" I can see getting pretty tiring.

Not surprising really, humor and Ryan Renolds is less of the witty variety and more of the "look at me! I'm a jackass! Laugh at me!" variety. I don't always mind it, works alright sometimes in rom-coms or even just quiet, personal interactions in general, but not so much when it's loud and outgoing.

That's megasonic teenage warhead. She was this girl that was a student of Emma's on Genosha, right before a sentinel the size of Montana took a flaming dump all over it. So yea, cool name, no idea what her power was.

Mm, I really want this to be good but this trailer ain't giving me much hope.

It feels like it's trying too hard to be an R rated movie, you know, like when you're a kid and you discover swear words for the first time and just throw them into every sentence where they aren't needed just to make yourself seem cooler or more grown up.

With all that said though, the way Deadpool moves looks consistent with the comic and the suit looks good.

I hope it's good and I'll see it when it comes out but I'm very, very, VERY cautious.

I saw the Batman vs Superman trailer and was really excited, I managed to see this one before it was taken down and if anything I'm disappointed. Maybe it's because of the poor video quality that I can't really get into it but it didn't grab me in the same way the original test footage thing did.

The jokes about the costume not being green and animated were funny, but most of the others didn't even get a chuckle out of me. Some of the insults in it were more what a twelve year old whose swearing vocabulary has just rapidly expanded would say. Maybe they'll be funnier in the moment?

Some of the action and lines are taken straight from the test footage, I didn't really like the bit where he's in the car doing the "Why the red suit?" line followed by the "Brown pants" line. It just didn't work for me. A lot of stuff here looks like it's been taken from a superhero movie from about 5 years ago, which might be explained by the movie being stuck in development hell for some time.

Still, there's a lot of encouraging stuff and a Deadpool movie would be brilliant if they got it right. I'm still going to see this.
