Fable sequels suck in comparison.

I prefered Digimon over Pokemon.

I liked the Star Wars prequels.

TimeSplitters 4 will be the coming of super robot Jesus and will make all fanboys realise how much CoD is overrated

Square root of minus one, 2 to the power of 8, Sigma, Pi.

Pi is exactly 3.

No matter how much I want to I can't enjoy the blandness of BlazBlue due to my failure at the gameplay.

The cake is a lie is funny.

The companion cube is awesome.

Light is smarter than L.

The game

Deal with it.

Web of shadows was the best Spider-Man game ever in creation, and Shattered Dimensions was 300 steps back.

I love female default Sheppard. Too much?

I wouldn't be a gamer now if it wasn't for guitar hero.

-Ocarina of Time is wholly inferior to Majora's Mask.
-TRON is actually not that great.
-Mass Effect 2's plot sucked, and your choices from the first did jack shit in the game. Its not even really an RPG. It is also a corridor shooter.
-New Vegas is miles better then Fallout 3. Gameplay is tuned so you don't need VATS in every battle, and the story isn't written by a fool.
-KOTOR II is better then KOTOR I
-Spore was actually pretty fun.
-All DRM is complete bullshit and no matter what publishers/developers say, it only punishes paying customers and never pirates.
-Timesplitters is the greatest game series ever made in the history of games.
-Witcher 2 will be the best RPG of the decade.
-Crysis 2's multiplayer is just Call of Duty with cloaking and jumping high.
-I am a massive hypocrite

I love Halo and actually found the plot and characters engaging,
Mass Effect 2 is better than Mass Effect because they kept the great narrative and lost the grindy bullshit,
Microsoft are not evil,
Valve are overrated, they might make good games but that's not worth how much they screw their fans around,
I hate anime,
Realism in games can be just as fun as silliness, so long as the realism creates immersion and you feel part of the experience,
Nintendo wouldn't know creativity if it farted in it's face,
My CAPTCHA is Midect following.

You must deal with all of those things.

Microsoft are killing gaming with their Xbox.

Deal with it.
I'm curious, how?
For starters the fact that they pumped out the xbox 360 in a basically faulty state, i have owned 4 xbox's now, and 3 of them have red ringed under various errors, and i have no doubt that the current one will do the same at some point.
The way they were designed were unbelievble, an idiot could have worked out that the airflow was insufficient and the dvd drive sat over the tiny GPU heatsink was a stupid idea.

Secondly, the fact that they charge a subscription fee to use their online services, in spite of the fact that the gamers themselves have to host the games on the internet connection they pay a seperate company for. This is bad enough on the xbox, but it was a joke when they tried to force the same subscription fees on pc gamers.

Thirdly, (And this one is just my outlook on things) they are turning games into chores and cashcows to milk money out of the parents of children. take the call of duty series for instance, my girlfriend paid god knows how much for modern warefare 2 for her son, and it takes over his life, he has to get all the unlocks, he has to prestige, it becomes a chore, not a game.
Then all of a sudden, black ops is out and its the same deal all over again, and it will be the same when the next Cod comes out in 6 months or whatever.
Now i know unlocks in a game like that are nothing new, but gaming seems to be designed with console kiddies in mind. DLC and special edition extras are another thing this console trend seems to be bring in as the norm, pay extra and you have an advantage, preorder the game and skip the first few levels etc.
I feel that microsoft probably have some sort of deal with the companies making these games, as the unlocks system pretty much ensures people will continue to pay microsofts extortionate live subscription fee.

I thing that over the last few years, pc gaming has taken a step backwards because of the consoles. I wouldnt have such a problem with the whole thing if it wasnt affecting pc gaming.

This is the way i see it, deal with it.
The consumer is ultimately responsible for the poor state of the early 360's. The 360 needed plenty of ventilation and required a much bigger case but who would buy a console the size of a modest bookshelf? The current slim gen of the 360 is the console it should always have been but the technology was not able to make it available without driving the cost up exponentially; which the average consumer wouldn't tolerate.

Microsoft charge for a premium service, you get plenty of bang for your buck and from my experience a more stable service than PSN.
Microsoft aren't responsible for developers choosing the gamer to host their own multiplayer games.
Microsoft aren't responsible for Activision charging silly money for their games and how often they release DLC.
Microsoft aren't responsible for YOU buying your children games. I'm curious to know if your son is even old enough to be playing CoD games, in which case, you're at fault again.

They way you see it is skewed, deal with it.

Steam is awesome aside from the fact it leaves you unable to game without an internet connection
you can play steam games with no internet, but you need to have steam set to remember you. aslong as you're signed in when the internet goes out you can restart your computer and still be gaming.

The single player campaign in an FPS makes or breaks the game based on the level of story, atmosphere and immersion. Multi-player takes a back seat to this unless the game is designed specifically for multi-player such as TF2, Counter-Strike or Unreal Tournament. This is why Half Life 2, BioShock and even Doom 3 (oh yes, I went there), are all better games than CoD or Halo. Half Life 2 = Better immersion. Doom 3 = Better atmosphere. BioShock = Better story and atmosphere. Now ...

Deal with it!

Any game that is turn-based in this age of computing is intrinsically stupid. Yup that means I think most RPGs suck. Yes, I'm staring you down Final Fantasy; you're an outdated, boring mode of game-play, that is merely glossed over again and again with better cinematics. I'm also glaring at you KoToR. You call yourself a Star Wars game? Pathetic. If you can make the cut-scenes look that good then what the hell is your issue with actually making people react in real time to the threat facing them. And this goes for all games of that ilk. What, are your play testers 2 year-old ADD patients on meth, or did you simply never learn about the technological marvel of being able to pause a game? Holy shit, any time I see any game like this I think "Has the world gone mad?! I'm I the only sane man left?!" It's like watching Die Hard, only at the end, John McClane and Hans Gruber just stand still and take turns shooting each other until one of them dies. I mean, Deus Ex had great RPG elements but I was cool with that because, at least when NPCs were trying to shoot you, they were actually making a concerted fucking effort to do so. Ugh, anyway...

So you are saying that its ok to sell something that doesnt work as intended if the price is acceptable? and its not even the size of the case thats the issue. how much do you think using better thermal paste would cost? how about adding a couple of 60mm intake fans at the front of the case? or making adjusments to the heatsinks and shroud system? what about using a better system then the flimsy x-clamps? thats gonna drive the cost up exponentially is it?

whats the premium service if you dont mind my asking? name one thing that the xbox does on its live gold subscription that i cant do on my pc for free.

Your missing the point on the servers, if microsoft are charging you to play online, then they should be providing servers. what they are doing is charging the gamer money and providing nothing of value for the price.

i know microsoft arent responsible for what anyone charges for their games, and you missed the point again there. im saying that when dlc and whatnot is only available via a live gold account, it points towards companies being offered rewards to make sure people continue to pay their live subscriptions, or are forced to sign up if they want a certain DLC package.

you obviously didnt read my post properly, because i dont have any children. Therefor im not even going to respond to the final part of your post.
