Thought of another one:

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare is the best zombie game out there for more reasons than just gameplay... it does what no other zombie game has done. It took a well developed world that had a full length game behind it based in realism (even though it isn't entirely realistic) and then it turns it on its fucking head and adds zombies. No other zombie game has that backing to it. Also, unlike a certain zombie game being given way too much credit before it's even out (namely "Dead Island") it's self aware that normal zombies have become nothing but a parody of themselves no matter how serious you try to make it. Dead Island will most likely be way too over dramatic and anyone with eyes will see that, if the trailer is any inclination, it will take itself too seriously. It will most likely suck. Storywise, at least. We no nothing of gameplay, so it shouldn't be so heavily praised already.

well im not sure how much she paid for it, so didnt want to guess at a price only to be told i was wrong! lol.

i know microsoft arent responsible for what anyone charges for their games, and you missed the point again there. im saying that when dlc and whatnot is only available via a live gold account, it points towards companies being offered rewards to make sure people continue to pay their live subscriptions, or are forced to sign up if they want a certain DLC package.

You don't need a gold account to have access to DLC or the Xbox live arcade. The only thing you need a gold subscription for (that I know of) is the online multiplayer.

Ok, your probably right, but why charge for the online multiplayer if you arent providing servers? just makes no sense to me. with an mmo you pay a sub because of server and game maintenence costs, but microsoft provide no servers and the game publisher/developer are responsible for any game updates. i just struggle to see what you pay for other then the privilidge of playing online, which pc gamers have been doing for free for decades.

KOTOR isn't turn based. You can have it real time, or make it so it pauses so you can plan out your moves better. It's a game of strategy, not reflexes. And just because you don't like it, or turn based strategy, doesn't make it obsolete (though, for the record, I'm not a fan of Final Fantasy in general)

I also feel called to point out that KOTOR is almost a decade old, so all your bitching on that game specifically is really a moot point if you're talking about something being obsolete by today's standards.
