Sorry, I have to disagree. I think that honor goes to Fire Emblem.Arisato-kun said:Lies. IX was fantastic and Tactics set the standard for the SRPG genre.Flying-Emu said:Final Fantasy itself is annoying.Arisato-kun said:That thing is the main character of Final Fantasy XII, Vaan. Makes sense. I just can't get myself to do that when I already know that outcome of the battle so well.Scobie said:I always did the opposite. I tried to imagine what I would do if I were actually in that situation. I know that Sovereign will die either way, but Shepard doesn't. Hence it always seemed more sensible to maximise your chances of beating Sovereign instead of diverting ships to save that bunch of pillocks, even though the ultimate outcome is worse.
We don't know that. Reaper indoctrination might be an inherent part of all major Reaper technology because of how they design it. For example, certain Reaper artifacts found by various groups in both games lead to them turning into husks. Besides, that facility dealt with the construction of Reapers, so they're going to be messing around with indoctrination anyways. The problems of dealing with Reaper tech seem to stem exclusively from Reaper indoctrination. Since the Collector base isn't a Reaper, I reasoned that it was unlikely to do that. And again, I was willing to deliver the technology into the hands of someone evil in order to maximise the probability of defeating the Reapers. So I always saved the thing. It's true that Cerberus aren't great at keeping control of this kind of stuff, though. There's a pretty good chance of it Going Horribly Wrong. Damn, now I'm undecided. Maybe next time round I'll destroy the base instead. Not sure yet.
I guess you're right.Never! Screw the rules, I'm a Renegade!
Erm . . . everyone else seems to be ignoring us, so I guess it doesn't really matter in this case.
