Funny thing is they cancelled my Pre-order a whole week before everyone else's so I actually had a head start on finding another copy. I hear HMV has a few collector's editions left.
Though really if I didn't want the physical CE I wouldn't really care, and would have bought it off Origin. I haven't bought a physical game for a long while now.

I just hope the problem is fixed soon, I've worked in Gamestation, an affiliate of GAME, and I love it. There are a few things I do question about business practices, but as a gamer and working in a game store, I was happy to plod along.
It is a debacle that GAME isn't stocking ME3, one of the biggest launches to date, and I hope something is worked out in the end.
Either way EA has been very tight with its stock in some cases, but GAME have been circling the drain themselves. I can see this being one of the nails in the coffin.

It's there own fault that they're in thier current financial situation. They've tried to monopolise the video game retail market, by buying out other stores. And their failure to better Amazons prices and HMVs trade in values(I've always got 2x the value) has cost them a fair bit of business. This is just a theroy, I don't know anything about running a business, so don't quiz me on this shit.
I've abused Gamestation's trade ins for a while now. Cex is next door to my local GS, so I go to cex, get prices, go next door, and get new prices of Cex +£1. Plus, the original Gamestation offer is still printed on the receipt. I once turned an offer of around £20 into just shy of £50 this way.ToTaL LoLiGe said:

Can someone tell me why so many people hate this GAME store? I don't actually live in the UK myself but I've heard things about GAME but I'd like to understand the hatred better.

I went in to cancel my pre-order of ME 3 (at the time I decided to just get it online, now I'm never getting it) and the cashier person thing had the gall to tell me (now she said it in a very bitchy snotty tone) "well you're just going to pay for it more online" that's all I remember but she was very snotty about my decision to cancel my preorder

Yeah i won't exactly miss Game or Gamestation. Though all you guys with gift cards are getting a raw deal.
