Hello again Escapist,

This may be the worse kept secret in... well wherever you are, but really does the government have to do this in order to fight "terrorism"? Spying on our porn habits? Yes many people may have different views on pornography but I think the point here is freedom. Freedom to view japanese tentacle midget porn to furry incest bi-sexual scat porn (I may joke but somewhere on the internet, it's there). Heck whatever your porn preference is your choice, but feet porn makes no sense to me. It's feet, how are they sexy? LMAO.

Yes I may be in the UK but here we have the GCHQ who are cosy in their soft beds with the NSA and share every fucking thing together like a Dom and Sub relationship, cause we all know who wears the strap in the loving partnership. (You can get the imagery out of your head now)

Share your views if you may.

ADDED NOTE: Something tells me cause of this post I will be monitored by NSA/GCHQ now.

Don't like the NSA's spying? Do what I do and go to Japanese tentacle midget porn sites. Ya know, to confuse and frighten them.

I'm not into porn at all, but everyone should have a right to look at whatever freaky shit they want in the privacy of their own home/corner of Starbucks as long as they're not harming anyone by looking and as long as no one was harmed in the making of said porn. I do think people who create a market for certain things like torture, rape, snuff, and child porn by creating a demand for it should have their asses handed to them as much as the people who make it, but that's another conversation entirely. I'm assuming we're just talking about standard weird shit and/or animated hentai type stuff. Though I'm not a porn fan, I do so enjoy linking friends to sites with just weird shit like Bad Dragon, so I have to guess the NSA would wonder more why I keep linking people orca dick dildos the size of my arm. And I like to shoot people the occasion especially hilarious yaoi.

Ninja: In my experience, pretty much just start a porn site with the word "Japanese" and it'll be confusing and frightening. Just speaking from my experience of having a friend who likes to link me to any and all terrible, gross, very slimy looking things. Urggg.

Look at it from the perspective of an NSA agent:

If you had to make your ends meet, would you rather do it with sincere and honest investigation, or would you rather be paid (quite well) to watch second hand porn all day?

Seriously,it's no contest!

Honestly, they really don't give a damn what kind of porn you're into. As long as you aren't a terrorist/criminal they'll leave you alone.

Your hopes are sadly contradicted by the above links, showing that they are also in fact targetting people solely for being "radicalizers".

If you would be an actual terrorist, they wouldn't watch your porn habits, they would bomb you. This is used as a piece in ideological warfare, not actual warfare.

But, but, but...if people didn't have anything to hide, they wouldn't be afraid of a shadowy unaccountable government agency secretly watching them.

Terrorist/Criminal...Political enemy...unruly protester...

It's clearly a suppression tactic designed to embarrass and intimidate. As the above links explain - Even if they are not looking at you specifically that doesn't mean that you won't be affected, or even hurt by this monitoring.

I wish there was a way to tell if you're being monitored. Just so I could look up the weirdest shit I can think of, look straight into my webcam and say "It only works if someone's watching"

Really....I don't care if they're watching my smut...I'm not sure who or what they could use it as blackmail for, I'm pretty out of the closet about my kinks and tastes. I'm not sure who they could tell that would be shocked, or what they'd think of the reactions to 'He's watching....CREAMPIE MILFS'.....I think my wife would giggle, my girlfriends would roll their eyes and laugh.
I've got a lot of things they could see I'd prefer they not, but my smut is not one of them...enjoy fellas, I remember working with ya'll, I hope the tastes in the tech bays haven't changed.

Apart from the fact that the internet is far from 90% porn content and usage wise.

Is it just me that finds it mildly amusing that parts of the press are howlign about this when they themselves use any personal information they can glean (yes including taste in porn) to discredit members of the goverement. So what is it press, is snooping into peoples private lives to discredit them for political gain fine or or not so, because your telling us its not while whn caught doing it saying its not only fine its essential....

I don't agree with the NSAs practacies in this (or a number of other things) but I'm astonished by the level of hipocrasey among many people on these things

True, who said NSA agents never get bored?
It is like reality TV to them, but just more authentic
Next thing we will discover that they are requesting games and gaming platforms for "research into better understanding of potential threats"

Also- how do they jerk off to porn on work?
Or are they "working" a lot in their toilets?

Also also- for every porn I have watched- you're welcome.

Except (about a month or so ago), multiple NSA employees were busted for using the massive information gathering network to run background checks (and spy in general) on their spouses/partners.

Look at it this way, somebody is trying to recruit you into a more radical version of islam, how you should be fighting this and that, and how the west is evil. Then you find out he is into gay midget porn, if he has been doing a good job convincing you them any porn might suffice but the stranger the better, anyway this new information will make you reconsider your involvement with him.

Sure there could be some question to if these 6 people should be targeted since this is something very open to abuse, but the tactic itself is a very good one, more about winning hearts and minds that blowing the two apart.

You know there could be more truth to this than you know. I've heard of several cases of employees and government workers watching porn on company/government computers. What better way to watch porn than to find someone already watching porn and claim it's work related? It's fool proof.

Just ignore the people watching the really weird shit. Unless they're into that kinda stuff. Who are we kidding? They work for the government. Of course they are into the really weird shit.
