A convicted Utah man sentenced to death has opted to be executed by firing squad. Since 1976, when the Supreme court overturned the death penalty ban, Utah is the only state to have used the old timey method. Oklahoma allows for firing squad but has not used method in 'modern time'.
Although I oppose the death penalty, and this guy is a murderer, I can't help but be impressed by the cajones of this guy to stand in front of a firing squad and go out like a badass (badass might not be best word but its the best I got right now.)
So, for discussion: what do you think of a modern state using such a method of execution? How would you wanna go out?
