Not that i wanna be an ass, but doesn't the US get their patches 24 hours earlier then we in the EU do? ;o
Yes, let us have a race that nobody can understand or want to be around. On the other hand, they would make the Forsaken more sexually appealing.Blanks said:Speaking of addedclassesraces I'll start playing when Murlocs become aclassrace.

Well Frostmourne turned out to be only for Level Excellent and was a BoP and the armor turned out to be the same as what other Death Knights start out with. Apparently there was a +3 Hankie(+1-5 Frost Dmg) that Kel'thuzad gave Arthas when he realized that he would no longer be able to "get the hawt on." Someone tried to sell that on the Auction House, and only got a copper bid (apparently frozen snot doesn't make for a good marketing point).Tenmar said:What? No report on the item drops? What did Arthas just say "screw you" to them with no items?
There, there. Everyone's loveable and huggable Deathwing is coming back!Armored Prayer said:Same here. He and Hellscream were my all time favorite Warcraft characters.EcksTeaSea said:I'm sad now. Arthas was my favorite out of everything WC had.
Now there both dead. I'm sad now.
They have only killed him on the easy, 10-man mode. There is still 10-man hard, 25-man easy, 25-man hard ánd the "holy shit can this ever be done?!" achievements. Difficulty in WoW is a choice now, and that's very very very very good. No longer is the difficulty decided by the lowest or highest denominator and everyone can play the game like he or she wants to play it.Fappy said:Wow beat that fast? GG Blizzard. Your game is hard and everyone who kills your bosses are pro.
Yeah. US get their patches tuesday, EU get their patches wednesday. If Ensidia downed Arthas 6 hours after Blood Legion, then technically Ensidia still got a world first, though it depends on your definition of 'first'.Chaossebba said:Not that i wanna be an ass, but doesn't the US get their patches 24 hours earlier then we in the EU do? ;o
Let me guess... along with re-vamping the vanilla WoW they're going to introduce flying mounts to that section of the game...? If so, the game will effectively become unplayable for new subscribers because all the high-level folks will be mining the crap out of the rare ores, herbs etc.maddawg IAJI said:Cataclysm will no doubt bring some new dungeons in there, but the whole purpose of it is to revamp the original lands. No trees in Ashenvale, Lava in the barrens etc etc. Just to make the first 58 levels more interesting.Sonicron said:I haven't even watched any of the Cataclysm trailers yet, but now that Arthas is pushing up daisies my money's on Neltharion (aka Deathwing) as the next expansion pack boss, which would be pretty sweet.maddawg IAJI said:Nooooo! OT: Well, the one thing Blizzard has feared has come to reality. There main baddy is killable. I kinda wanna see what they plan to add to the game now that Arthas and the Scourge can be defeated and after Cataclysm of course.
To be fair, they're not just 'some meddlesome adventurers'. Canonically, they're a group of adventurers that have dealt with every major threat to appear in the past few years.lordlee said:He's Arthas. I can't think of a bigger "fuck you" than to fall off your long held throne to some meddlesome adventurers, and not give them any loot.Tenmar said:What? No report on the item drops? You realise that they only beat it on the easiest of 4 difficulties, right?Fappy said:Wow beat that fast? GG Blizzard. Your game is hard and everyone who kills your bosses are pro.
I've never played WoW before, nor do I want to, but didn't this expansion come out almost a year ago and they're just now beating the main villain of it?Mornelithe said:Unless you're just joking, yeah, some of the fights in WoW are pretty intense. Admittedly, the high-end raiding guilds are literally hundreds of times better than the lower end guilds. So, some of this content will take some time to beat for a great many, and some won't achieve it until after hitting 85 in the next expansion. Happens more often than you'd think.Julianking93 said:It took them this long to beat an enemy?
Blizzard always kills off the "main baddy". They've done it in all the Warcraft and Starcraft games . . . initially. They also come up with a replacement right away. The same is true in this case. I've seen the cinematic for Arthas' defeat, and they have a loop hole in place to keep WoW going on indefinitely, kind of. I stopped appreciating the Warcraft storyline after Arthas defeated Illidan Stormrage at the end of Frozen Throne. They are always more interested in starting their next storyline than they are in finishing their current one.maddawg IAJI said:Nooooo! The Dark Lord has fallen!
