Well everyone i assume questions it some time in their life and some just ignore it but i would like to hear your thoughts on the subject. do you fear it? look forward to it? what do you think happens after death or during.Wat have been your experiences with death. How did you cope? I dont want this to be taken as a religious topic as im not connecting the two but you are welcome to make that connection if that is your beliefs.

As for my opinion i think its like when you fall asleep and you never remember at wat point it is you fell sleep as for after it i would say nothing happens you just cease to think or exist anymore. I haven't known anyone close to me who has died so maybe thats why i have a cold blunt opinion of it.

Eh, I don't think much about it. I just hope when my time comes it's not coming with pain in tow, that's the one thing I fear about death. I fear mine will come painfully, I hate pain.

On a related note: My grandfather died in his sleep, in his favorite recliner with the TV on. That is how I want to go out, as I lived.

I dont fear death, I only fear the method in which I might die. Death itself, I look at as a new experience. No one knows what happens, it could be utter bliss for all we know.

Death only recently became something that has existed for me. I tend to just pretend I'm going to live forever, and it gets me through the day. Try not to look death in the face, and it gets a lot less upsetting.

I fear pain, but I do not fear death.
I don't wish to make people's life hard as a result of my death.
So um... I don't *want* to die because I have debt my parents co-signed to, and I don't want to feel pain, but I'm not scared of death itself.

I know there is nothing after death as I have been clinically dead before, so I'm not too worried about it.

That sounds great. I only worry about someone finding me and that being hard for them.

the last true frontier, to find out what happens after you die. The last scientific venture one will ever go on, the last scrap of knowledge to be gleaned, the greatest revelation of them all. I can not help but wonder at times what will happen, and fear at times as well, but to find out what will happen is so glorious in and of it self. Venture into the light and see what you may.

I am scared of it, very scared, both happening to me or something or someone close to me, fuck, I cried when my dog died, imagine what I will do when a family member dies.

I don't know what to think about what happens during it.

I don't fear it. I will die when it is my time to. I've witnessed beloved members of my family pass on. I'm no stranger to it.

I won't post my religious views about it here as I am positive I would get flamed.

As for coping, dealing with it; I don't have a fixed formula. I grieve in different ways.

I have no theories about what it is like to die. Other than meeting your Savior.

Death is as natural as life. It is just the end of what Birth began. I don't think it is wise to fear it as it will happen, no matter what you do.

You will die. It is up to you to decide if by the time you die you will be proud of what you did in life.

I figure that one of these days I am going to die by my own hand, in some method that involves some anxiety, like suffocation, because dying at your own hand should have some anxiety attached.

I'm not afraid of death. In fact, I'm actually kind of curious of what will happen next. Do we go to Heaven? Do we go to Hell? Does nothing happen? Does something happen that our minds cannot even imagine? I'm really fascinated on what will come afterwards. Granted, not so fascinated that I'll put a gun to my head and pull the trigger just to find out, but fascinated nonetheless.

hopefully because of LSD. I want to see colors when I die.

edit: I want to live as long as possible, so I can laugh at the people I hated who died before me.

I'm not afraid of it or anything. I fear getting old more than death, so I hope for it at a decent age. Maybe before my 60's.

I look forward to it yet I also wish I could only die by my own hand so that I can live long enough to experience as much life as I can. I'd like to live at least a hundred thousand years or so.

I am not worried about MY death. I don't want to be left behind when someone dear to me dies though. Does that make sense? I can take pain, and I can move beyond life to discover what comes after - but I don't want to be the one left behind.

For me, death is part of the deal you get with life. It could hurt, but so does living. I'd like to get to a place where there is no more hurt, I'd love a place where there is more happiness than is found in this life, but, whatever it is, I hope I'll deal with it like I deal with life. One moment at a time, knowing that whatever happens, I'll have done my best with what I've had.

Not worried about it, it's pointless to be worried about something that is impossible to regret. When I die I will cease to think or feel and my body will decay just like any organic matter.

It's not my death that I'm worried about, its more about how I die. Perferably I die peacefully after a long and fulfilling life surrounded by loved ones. Or go out in a way so awesome that people will be remembering it for centuries. I understand that death is inevitable. We all die, there is nothing we can do to stop it. Although I don't believe anything really happens after death, I wouldn't mind finding out that something does happen. Hopefully it isn't reincarnation as a rock. Ugh, being a rock would be boring.

It probably all depeneds how you die. I'm sure a man who gets torn limb from limb has a different opinion on death. However to me... I imagine it to be fulfilling. I think its said best in the endings of the Chronicles of Narnia series and in the book The five people you meet in heaven. Just something that give you another life. (yeah, I'm catholic, so i do beleive there is heaven, or whatever you call that higher place). It may hurt when you die, but i imagine after its something soothing.

thats how i think it is anyway, and how i would like to die. Just closing my eyes and letting it sink. I always like that "oneness" feeling.
