A while ago, I hosted my first serious RP... And it failed horrifically in the first chapter due to a few things, from a lack of commitment from my RP-ers, my inexperience with running an RP, and a huge amount of inability to handle my ambitions for its behemoth story...

Well, I am pleased to announce that that RP is about to be re-delivered, in a more thrilling and faster paced manner, ladies and gentlemen, I bring you:

[HEADING=1]
Deathless Ideal
[/HEADING]

This RP is for 7/8/9 people all of which have to be committed, intelligent, and good writers! I?m afraid I have to be really picky with this one, so please act your best with your sheet, and in the RP.

For those scratching their heads in confusion, I provide this Codex for reference to the story, technology, and people of this parallel world.

[HEADING=2]Codex[/HEADING]

This RP is set in an alternative present, where due to a blunder in the Second World War, the USSR was able to expand with no limitations over Afro-Eurasia, and proceeded to conquer the Americas. The story itself revolves around our characters being drafted into the International Liberty Seeker?s Alliance (The ILSA), and their war against the state, both a philosophical and emotional journey into Communism?s ?Deathless Ideal?.

The RP begins in a Personnel displacement train in the middle of Siberia, where a variety of people are being transported to the town of Svobodny from Leningrad station, but their passage is... interupted.

The players will have to be a part of the ILSA, this list is just for reference purposes.
The ILSA is a Libertarian terrorist group, determined to topple the USSR. The group was founded almost immediately after the conquest of the Americas by the enigmatic and messianic figure, known only as Fat Dog, it?s funds come from illegal businesses, and funding donated to them by citizens, and the Government of the former US. ILSA bombs, coerces, assassinates, and steals from the state, with a goal of crippling the Soviet?s infrastructure, it has a policy of never targeting civilians; however, civilian deaths are unavoidable to any terrorist, this has led to them being branded as murderers by the state, although the people are starting to question that. The ILSA costs the USSR approximately one sixteenth of it?s Gross domestic product, and spans the entirety of the planet, it has a growing following amongst the peoples of the world, especially youths.
The Soviet Union has expanded greatly since the Second World War, now covering three quarters of the world?s landmass, and still having a Stalinist way of governing. The USSR calls itself ?A Marxist socialist state, with a love of all of its people, possessing a desire for unity of all peoples?, but the USSR is really a true tyranny by the majority, those who are seen as non-productive, dissidents, and people who do not pay the 98% income tax rate are punished with death, however, the leading politicians of the Grand Soviet Cabinet, headed by Nicolai Lynovsky, seems to be above those rules. The aforementioned Grand Soviet Cabinet decides upon population control, military strategies, technological progress, and propaganda issuing. Kind people indeed.
This Nazi (Leiterlude is German for Leader's people) faction, who regard Adolf Hitler as the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, has existed since the entirety of Germany was annexed by the Soviets in 1948, the end of the Second World War. They are relatively small when compared to the ILSA, however they give the German province of the Soviet military a fair amount of trouble.
This radical Islamist group has no formal structure, it is simply a union of Muslim people who desire liberation from the ?heretical? ways of the Soviets, unlike the ILSA, however, they tend destroy anything they don?t like, including civilians. They are concentrated around the chaos that is the Middle East.
No one knows who he is, no one has ever seen his face, he has no known relatives, no home, no religion, and he is as unknowable as shadows themselves. Fat Dog is the founder, head, and strategist of the ILSA, and he is the most secretive person ever to exist on this earth, all in good reason, seeing as he is the most wanted man in the world. Fat Dog was first mentioned just before the end of the American Annexation, by the last President of the US- David Boaz. Boaz, recognizing imminent military defeat, turned over all the remaining cash in US?s treasury to Fat Dog, in the hope that the founding principles of the US might return to the world through this man, and his ideas. Exactly one week after the US?s fall, a message was sent to the Grand Soviet Cabinet from Fat Dog, that message was a declaration of war against the USSR, and the founding constitution of the ILSA. Fat Dog has since then spearheaded the ILSA?s campaign against the USSR, and has made the ILSA a functional organization through secretly opening thousands of secret private business?s, all profits off which go directly to the ILSA. Fat Dog is literally become a messianic figure amongst the ISLA?s members, many member?s even substitute his name for curse words!
The head of the Grand Soviet Cabinet, Nicolai Lynovsky is said to be a re-incarnation of Stalin himself, he treating people as an invaluable commodity. Lynovsky is a genius, when it comes to the domestic front, he, along with Leon Klonov being the reason for the USSR?s monopoly on the planet?s landmass.
Where Lynovsky is the domestic genius, Klonov is the military messiah. Klonov is a man without a conscience; he doesn?t cares for any life whatsoever, and will do anything for success and power. Klonov is often referred to as ?the architect of pure evil?. He serves as the Head of the foreign affairs, and Head of the security branch of the Grand Soviet Cabinet.
This insane woman is the leader of the Social Welfare sector of the Grand Soviet Cabinet- she, displaces 75 million people from their homes a year, and is responsible for approximately 45 million ?undesirable terminations? a year.
Pyrokev is in charge of the Cultural and political unification sector of the Grand Soviet Cabinet, due to him almost all works of art, from paintings to film have been eradicated. Due to him all artists need a license to make any work of art.
Lebeok runs the Provincial unification branch of the Grand Soviet Cabinet, his job is to tailor the needs of the state to the capabilities of the provinces.
Kiech is in charge of the Surveillance department of the Grand Soviet Cabinet, he is responsible for the vast amount of security cameras around the land, and has a huge amount of data and knowledge on every matter in the USSR, and person ever to take a breath in the Union.
So, how come the Soviet?s own the world? What separates our world from Deathless Ideal?s is a simple accident, a single mistake, which set off a domino effect, which made all of this happen. On September 1st 1940, Dr. Edward George 'Taffy' Bowen was on one of the most important missions of the war: The Tizzard Mission [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tizard_Mission]. The Tizard mission was a simple mission, an exchange of British technological marvels, from an essay on the feasibility of the Atom bomb, to the secrets of Radar. In our timeline, these secrets forged the Anglo-American alliance, which was the main reason for the Japanese bombing of Pearl harbour, which, as we all know, was the reason America became involved in the war. The Tizard mission had been given a green light by both governments, and Bowen was tasked with delivering them across the Atlantic. All of the secrets had been sealed in a small metal box, which Bowen took with him to Euston Station, for them both to catch a steamer to America, where the box could be presented to scientists. When he arrived at Euston station, however, a young porter immediately took the box from the cab Bowen had been riding in, to be put into the property compartment of the train. In our timeline, Bowen caught up with the porter, and got the box back. In this timeline though, a single accident happened which changed history. A young mother was walking in Bowen?s general direction, and her child saw fit to burp, the child temporarily distracted her, and she inadvertently walked into Bowen. This made Bowen lose his concentration on tracking the porter with the vital box, and he lost sight of him. The box was never seen again, and the Tizard mission was a dramatic failure.
Without the US?s support, Britain had to rely on Canada and Russia for help. The war was a massacre for Britain, and Canada had to pull out of Europe in 1944 as they had to focus on the Pacific campaign. The US continued as a silent observer to these events, and Britain lost almost four fifths of its male population in the war. Hitler?s soldiers were only driven back by the power of the Soviet army, and Britain suffered huge losses flanking them. Berlin was taken, Hitler and his posse were executed at the Nuremberg trials, and Germany was annexed. Japan later was crushed in 1949 by the combined Chinese and Canadian forces, but Russia was the only reason the allies had survived.
The Soviets were hailed as the heroes of the war, and as of such many countries, ignoring Stalin?s (Who died in 1968) atrocities, began to incorporate into the USSR, all of mainland Europe had become part of the Soviet Union by 1973, and in 1984 both China and India became official provinces of the USSR. Some countries, like Japan, the UK, and Australia maintained their sovereignty and ideals, but the USSR forcefully incorporated them into the union; indeed, one observer on the Soviet annexation of London (17th January 1985) was quoted as saying, ?All of the people stood still, unmoving, glaring at the Bolsheviks as they advanced through the streets, they looked at the Soviets quietly. They looked at them as a dead man would look at the lid of his coffin.?. With a few exceptions, including the Middle East and central Africa (Chaos reigns there to this day), and the corrupt and small Governments of a few provinces of the Americas all of Afro-Eurasia, and nearly all of South America belonged to the Soviets.
Only North America was free from the hold of the Soviets, the US and Canada had adopted a relatively low profile after the war, and had prepared for the eventuality that they would be invaded. Unfortunately there was no way they could fight the overwhelming Soviet army that descended upon them in the August of 1992, and due to the fact that only the Soviets had the secrets of the Atomic bomb, America and Canada quickly fell, but not before their savings had been transported into hands unknown. The Soviets began by quickly taking Alaska, then overwhelming Canada, province by province. The US was deadlocked between the incorporated Mexico to the south, and the annexed Canada to the north, the US had no options other than surrender or a suicidal campaign, it wisely went with the first. The US was incorporated into the USSR.
These years are marked by insurgency against the USSR, from the ILSA to the Soldiers of Allah, the Soviets faced not men in these fights, but martyrs. This time?s other main feature is the formation of the Grand Soviet Cabinet after the death of Stalin?s successor, Prakov Lebedelk. But minus the relatively small annoyances of some terrorists, there was really no fear by the bureaucrat?s of Moscow, until a routine civilian displacement train is taken by a certain group...
The ILSA has many bases spread out across the world, all of which act on their own account, employing strategies against local Bolsheviks to further the general effort of the ILSA. The only times they act for a greater power is when they receive orders from the Epsilon Compound. The Epsilon Compound is the strategic headquarters of the ILSA, setting the organization?s targets, housing the alliance?s best military personnel, and rumoured to be the only known place Fat Dog will be, which is very occasionally. The ILSA is careful to keep the location of the ILSA secret, only members that have been recognized for great service to the ILSA are allowed to go there... even most of them don?t know where they are. The ILSA is careful not to place too much hope in the Epsilon compound, however, and has made hundreds of contingency plans if it is compromised.
This is essentially what we would call the internet, but it is heavily monitored and controlled by the Bolsheviks.
Everybody in the RP speaks Russian, okay? But don?t type in Russian characters! Type in English, and we?ll say it?s Russian. Of course your character can be fluent in another language, but just say that in English, after saying: X said in Y...
The fall of Australia, Japan, and finally North America led to a huge influx of people into New Zealand, mainly Right-Wingers and Libertarians. New Zealand, with its huge amount of wildlife and food stock combined with its easily defendable size made it a haven and a fortress for the Non-Soviets. New Zealand funnily enough, is not a nation any more; it is simply a large area of land populated by approximately 120 million people. It is an Anarchy, a land of do as you please- Which is ironic as there is almost no crime there. Around 70% of New Zealand?s inhabitants are part of the militia, a perfect, and well-armed deterrent against any planned Bolshevik incursion.

New Zealand serves as a recruitment haven for the ILSA, the organization drawing in thousands of recruits every year from the place, to be secretly shipped around the globe to combat the USSR/
All goods are state made, and as of such always carry the prefix ?Gloriously made State...?. They usually cost pennies to make, and are inferior to black market goods.

I have had to put these in, after some have tried to do these things, although I thought they would be self-explanatory.

1. No controlling other characters.
2. Do not try to advance the plot without obvious permission.
3. Do not create NPCs.
4. Do not control NPCs unless I have given you permission.
5. No Trench-Coating/Mary Sue-ing

If you find something lacking in the Codex, please PM me, and I?ll amend it!

PM me with any queries! And as a note, this is a linear RP, not a free roaming fare, there are different ways to do the jobs and enjoy the ride, but the story is plotted tightly, and yes, I expect this RP to last around two/three months, so think if you?ll be able to do this before rushing out your sheets.

Name: Yuri Kormar

Age: 30

Place of Birth: Berlin, Germany

Appearance: He has a scruffy, unshaven face. His hair is black and combed back, his eyes are a dull blue. His clothes are plain. He wears ripped blue jeans, a white t-shirt, running shoes and a black coat. He is tall and very muscular.

Notable qualities/skills: Tough, high pain resistance and is very strong from working in a factory. Very intimidating presence.

Reason for being transferred: Beat up a group of factory inspectors

Opinions towards the USSR: Hates it with a cold fury

History: Yuri is a man of hate. Since he was little, he has hated the USSR. They made him and his family move countless times, for reasons he could never understand. His mother and father eventually died in a factory explosion, due to the unsafe working conditions of the factory.
He was then placed in a youth working faculty, where he saw fear, depression and hopelessness wherever he turned. He vowed that he would find a way to change it all when he grew up.

As fate would have it, however, Yuri seemed destined to stay a worker. Every once and awhile, he?d commit small rebellious acts like stealing extra food for the hungry, or having machines fail near guards, injuring them in the process, these brought him small bits of joy but he was frustrated at his overall inability to do anything.

One day, a group of factory inspectors came by and started harassing youth who were working, calling them names, groping the girls and beating on the weak, Yuri stepped forward and beat them all senseless, not caring about the consequences.

Now he is bound on a train for execution, defiant until the end...

Name: Dmitri Petrov

Age: 22

Place of Birth: Croatia

Appearance: Tall and lanky with an athletic build, he has short brown hair with blue eyes and no facial hair. Wears sweat pants with a t-shirt, and running shoes.

Notable qualities/skills: Very adept at free-running, and as such has very good stamina, running speed and agility.

Reason for being transferred: Being caught with black market contraband.

Opinions towards the USSR: Holds no real grudge against them, as everything appears to be fine in the world.

History: Born in Zagreb, Croatia, Dmitri was always content with his life. Nothing ever seemed to bother him, not even the USSR. Everyone was equal, and there were no wars, except in those hellholes in the Middle East or Africa. At least, that is what he thought. When he heard about the ILSA, he had assumed that they were just some boogeyman that the state had thought up, or just some urban legend.

He grew up happy, but later in life he felt that he needed some excitement. He had grown bored with all of the State Sanctioned activities, and soon discovered free running. It helped him keep in good shape, and it never really harmed anyone. He built up his skills, and became quite good. Since free running was, for all he knew, illegal, him and a few of his friends always made sure to try and avoid the police by not traveling on restricted property.

However, his skills and naiveté led him into trouble when he was approached with a job offer. A man wanted him to take a package to an old, unused warehouse that had been abandoned after a fire. He was instructed to use the rooftops, in order to avoid police. Dmitri agreed, and was soon on his way. During the delivery, he was caught by the police for traveling on top of a restricted building, which he used to cut down time on his route, due to his instructions that the delivery was time-essential. They discovered the package, which, unknown to Dmitri contained black market weaponry, and he was promptly sent for transportation and execution. Little did he know that his train would be taking an unexpected detour.

I assume we can know other languages too?

Name: Andrew Knavren

Age: 24

Place of Birth: (By this I mean if they were born in this world, what country, and if considered a vast nation, even province, would they be considered born in) America

Appearance: (This includes clothes) Generally wears dark clothes, medium length of hair (down to the eyes) and swept to the side

Notable qualities/skills: Mastered Tae Kwon Do in an underground dojaang.

Reason for being transferred: (You are a civilian, not a militant, so please make it a routine transfer, or for petty crimes against the state, anything other than a militant, so be imaginative)Suspected for being a rebel (wrong place wrong time)

Opinions towards the USSR: (You don't have to hate the state, but you don't have to like it)
Hates them and wants revenge.
History: (I want 250 words minimum on this. Yes, I know it may be dull, but this RP requires only the best)

Andrew was born in America, his mother died during childbirth, and he was raised by his father. His father homeschooled him in a hidden location, in the countryside of Georgia, teaching him all he needs to know to survive including Tae Kwon Do for future purposes. Most of his childhood consists of physical training in the forests and around abandoned miltary bases. His father trained recruits in the ILSA and was a well known teacher. On one mission, his father was caught on a failed covert op mission, and was executed on T.V. At 18, Andrew was unaware of the execution and suspected the worst.

Leaving his home after the news of his father's death, he made connections with many people through an underground rebel network, which was later taken down, and formed a small group of friends he made along the way. He learned many things about the USSR in his group, and pulled successful missions on smaller military outposts and bases. The group stole weapons, supplies, food, and even took down small servers that monitored phonelines, internet, etc.

His group moved from town to town, and eventually moved to Atlanta, where they heard of a larger military base that is controlling most of Georgia. Knowing he needed more people in number, he merged with other small groups to attempt to take over a large base found in Atlanta. During the attempt, someone within the group betrayed them, and many people died in the infiltration and few friends escaped with him.

After his failed attempt, he decided to go on his own, not trusting anyone he knew anymore. He worked in many undercover operations, collecting intel he knew he would need for future an assassination of a USSR officer whose death would loosen the government's hold on the people. As a guard at a military base, he was found out by a lower-rank officer, who in turn had him tortured several times without finding a thing. He was sent to Siberia as a prisoner, and they continued to interrogate him there, where many have been said to die from the tortures there. One day, he was transferred out to Svobodny, where his fate was yet to unfold.

~hope its good

Name: Vassili Sokolov

Age: 21

Place of Birth: The Ural Mountains, Russia

Appearance: He has long blond unkept hair, piercing blue eyes, a once quite handsome face beaten and broken, his nose slightly bent because of constant rebreaking from several "Unfortunate accidents" involving the boot of USSR jailkeepers, he is 5 ft 11 and has a once strong muscular frame has withered away to something less than desirable due to the years he has been starved in jailcells, he wears a prison uniform which bears the Number 10121 on the back (I would describe the Modern Day Russian Prisoners uniform but whenever i try googling for an image of a modernday outfit of a "Russian Prisoners uniform" i just get porn :L what pictures i can find are wearing blue, so ill go with a Blue trouser and shirt with the numbers 10121 written large on the back in white and small on the front wear the front poket of a shirt would normally be )

Notable qualitites/skills: A brilliant aim, well able to survive in the wild (Excluding the Deasert or jungle enviroments) brilliant hunter and tracker, an extremely nervous demenor due to his constantly induced mental breakdowns and beatings by the hands of his jailers.

Reasons for being transferred: Another new day, another new wall of a jail cell to look at, Once again being moved to a new Jail to be "looked after" in, he rides in the detention compartment of the train, where passers-by can point, laugh and hurl abuse at

Opinion towards the USSR: Feeling betrayed by the country he once loved, he seeks revenge upon Bolsheviks for the death of his mother, but feels the guilt of the likely-hood of having to harm his fellow Russians in order to achieve this goal.

History: "My Great-grandfather, My grandfather.... my father, all fought in the name of The Glorious MotherLand, all died.. in the name of the "Glorious" Motherland. From Khalkhin-Gol, To Berlin, To the heart of Quebec, the world has been drenched with the blood of Men of the Solokov family. To us, living in a small isolated farm community in the Unforgiving Urals, it was an honour to of had such a history in serving the "Great" Soviet Union, our family was loved and praised by the locals and seen as partriots by the Government, i too could not wait to fight as my Family before me, to continue on the proud service my family gave to our motherland... How soon deeds of the past are forgotten. my Mother, a strong, independant woman, with a fiery Soul, some would say she was the embodiment of Mother Russias spirit, mother always said it took a strong woman to bring a man like fathers into line, she spoke so fondly of him, i cant even remember his face, i was so young when he left to fight.

She clothed me, Fed me, Taught me about the farm, the wilderness, How to hunt for food, how to shoot the wolves who attacked our livestock monthly, everything i am now, is because of her, i loved her ever so much, the memory of her and her Passing still brings tears to my eyes, i was 16 and it was a cold night, a blizzard had hit our sleepy villiage on the coldest day of the year, it was the cold night that two strangers happened to come across our home, i remember them being tired, ragged and freezing cold, who were we to denie them shelter? they stayed the night and left by the morning, saying few words and paying us for our troubles, this happened regulary, weary travelers needing a place to stay, they were nothing out of the ordinary.

then two days later a soviet truck Convoy came up to our small farm, they searched the farm, ripping the cottage apart in search of something, i stood next to my mother out in the freezing cold watching them search in frustration, as my mother and i kept demanding an explanation on deaf ears. when they told the Commandant in charge they had found nothing, he took out his Pistol and shot my mother in the head, it happened so fast, i doubt she saw it coming, doubt she realised what has happened, in seconds she was taken from me, then a Soviet Soldier hit me in chest with his rifle, i collapsed onto the cold, snow filled ground and i could see my mother, a bullet hole in her head, blood poured forth from the fatal wound, i rolled onto back despire and sadness rushing through me, i could barley breath and then saw the boot of the soldiers foot come down, then nothing... i woke several hours later in a jail cell, my families history had been rewarded by letting me keep my life, i would of gladly taken death, i think that was the point, the cold existance of life was much more painful than the sweet embrace of death they could've inflicted.. This is why i fight, This is why i Kill..For Her."

Err is it okay that i wrote the history in the kind of way i did?

Name: Cyprus Eversdale

Age: 17

Place of Birth: North Carolina, USA

Appearance: Cyprus is roughly about 5'6 and weighs only about 110 pounds, he has a semi-tan complexion with an average build for someone his height/age. His hair is meduim length and had been dyed a dark blue(Originally blonde), his eyes are also blue. He is rather attractive but not exactly what one could call a body builder.

Notable qualities/skills: He is rather fast on his feet and can effectively use a handgun

Reason for being transferred: Falsely accused of conspiracy.

Opinions towards the USSR: Doesn't have any feelings either way but he is strongly opposed to their propaganda.

History: Cyprus was born and raised in North Carolina, he was the youngest of family containing five children. His mother was not married and all these children belonged to different men which was credited to his mother being a street walker. Throughout his life we heard stories of the great USSR and how they saved Europe from being dominated by the Nazis, he never really cared for these stories because he wasn't European and neither were his family. Once he had arrived at school he quickly realized two things, keep your mom's occupation a secret and that if you don't you will be ridiculed everyday of you life. After only a year of dealing with abusive student's he decided to drop out at the age of seven and found work as a delivery boy.

He decided to stick with the job and remain out of school, he liked the simplicity of life that he was experiencing. On the weekends he would go hunting with his friends or jog around the neighbor hood seeing as he didn't have a car to get him where he needed to go. When jogging around town he would notice the posters that where put up around town which praised the USSR, he for some reason didn't feel comfortable with manipulating people through art work and imagery so he took upon himself to tear them down in secret. By the time he was sixteen he had a collection of stolen posters hidden away in his room which he kept for some reason.

Within a year there was a knock at his door and a group of armed soldiers where surrounding his family home demanding that he surrendered, he agreed despite not knowing why. Apparently it was an disgruntled neighbor who just didn't like Cyprus deciding that he may as well have the young man arrested.

It's Anarchic, many immigrants from Japan, Australia, and the US fled there, and made it a anarchic state. It is filled to the brim with people, and is blocking out the Soviets due to being both extremely densely populated, and having a well organized and prepared militia ready 24/7/.

The tech is essentially inferior to what we have now, due to the state having so many competing demands, think mid-90s quality tech. However, there is some technology that the Soviets utilize that is modern, however.

We have a saying in England: "Speak of the Devil, and presently he shall be at your elbow"

Name: Yan Shannov

Age: 67

Place of Birth: Chudovo, Russia

Appearance: Considering his age, Yan is doing well. In his prime, he was tall, broad shouldered, and layered with muscle. Now, nearly four decade later, his muscles are now sparse and lean, his hair an iron grey, but his frame remains powerful and his back unbent by the weight of years. His face retains it's old handsomeness, though he is more grizzled, and in recent years, the lines have begun to show.
He wears an old, slightly battered suit that was in fashion more than a decade ago, and over it a dark overcoat

Notable qualities/skills: Despite his age, Yan is one of the sharpest minds not employed by the Soviet Government. He is a fantastic actor, confident trickster, and possessed of an adolescent capacity for learning.

Reason for being transferred: Many and manifold, (see history)

Opinions towards the USSR: Neutral. He has no opinion, and merely dodges the law when he can. He does not care for who rules the world, as long as he can live his life in his ow manner

History: Born in Chudovo, a town in Central Russia, Yan excelled at school, and one of his teachers once referred to him as 'the next Da Vinci'. The boy was pleased, but the teacher soon disappeared, and Yan was taught the danger of ambition. In the following years, teachers who had praised his work found his listless and unmotivated, uncaring for conventional achievement and destined to end up a 'un-productive member of society'
However, Yan did not fail in his education, he merely stayed mediocre, carefully passing his exams by a modest, though not spectacular margin. For most of his life, he made sure he stayed under the radar, taking small, intellectual jobs, but not staying in one place long enough to leave a mark. Secretly, he gathered money, and was able to fund several illegal habits. Life continued this way for more than forty years, till one day he was discovered.
It was not till a random search team went through his rooms that it was found he had broken more rules than the rest of the neighbourhood that year. Among other things, he was in possession of a library of forbidden books, including the Bible and a copy of the original Communist manifesto, as well as a collection of dangerously anti-state DVDs. He also had paints and canvass and an automatic pistol, none of which he had a licence, though on the other had, they did not find his lockpicks or ancient revolver, which he concealed on his person. Evidence found also led to the discovery that he had been paying less than 70% tax, but in the end, it was decided that no old man cold have been able to commit that many crimes, and that most of the things in his house were being looked after for other criminals, so he escaped instant execution, and was instead sent to north to die slow death.
