Ehh, I am scared of driving and grossed out by bugs (including butterflies). That's not to say that I'll never drive, just that I have yet to overcome the fact that I don't trust any other drivers out there. lol

I have a fear of throwing up in public...but it's only a fear. Saying that, I believe my cousin actually developed a phobia of it, as for a while he became a bit of a hermit and hated going out in public just in case said even occurred. Must have been horrible.

Thanatophobia - Fear of dying.

Its nowhere near as bad as I used to be though. Now all I do is think about it at night, which normally leads to me trying to figure out the concept of existing. Its a hard subject to wrap your head around.

On a brighter note. I just farted. Thought i'd let you know :)

I've a fear of blood and a fear of water, blood is not too terribly bad, I am not going to freak out at a small cut (thought it will make me uneasy) and blood I know is fake (movies, games, tv etc.) doesn't phase me but it's still a fear. Water on the other hand can paralyze me in fear, which is definitely inconvenient.

Needles, don't know why but i turn into a total pussy if i see one of them headed for my body.
Same here, even for injections etc I have an extreme physical reaction to them when I get them (Involuntary muscle tightening on the syringe makes it WORSE..Get really sick after and totally hyperventilate waiting for one...)

Heights- If I am near the edge of something high, I will freak out if I have to look down and will immediately think I am going to fall even if there is something, like a wall, between me and that fall. I also am afraid of drains in public swimming pools. I feel like I am going to be sucked down into it if I hear the water draining sound.

No, not logical, but there you go.

Spiders, way past the point of debilitating. I can't even LOOK at a spider, or even a picture of one, without feeling like I'm gonna puke. I must have repressed a traumatic event in my childhood for me to be so goddamned terrified of those things.

To an extent, I still have acrophobia (fear of heights) but it's nowhere near as debilitating as it was when I was a child/teenager; I couldn't take even three steps up a flight of stairs when i was younger. Over the years, I've just gotten over it, to a certain extent, which I'm pretty proud of.

Even though its not a phobia; I totally cannot get on an escalator. I will go out of my way to find an elevator or staircase to get where I need to go. The reason for this is is that everytime I have been on one, I get on awkwardly, and then the entire ride, doesn't matter if it's up or down, I feel like I'm going to fall at any moment. I get a very bad case of vertigo on those damned things.

I'm incredibly Claustrophobic.

Any feeling of entrapment makes me shaky as hell, and pumps me full of adrenaline. if I can't get "free" fast enough I lash out violently at whatever or whoever is nearby.

I have a phobia phobia, and have thus divided by zero on this one.

Seriously though, even if you SAY I have a phobia, I have NO IDEA what it is. And don't even start with the idea that this means I fear the unknown. I wanna go into SPACE, the biggest unknown we have, and explore it. So basically, I have no idea how to answer the question except with a quick joke and a doff of the hat. Ta'.

This will seem like a stupid question, but how in the hell do you bathe?

Got social phobia ever since I spent almost a year indoors during a sabbathical from school six years ago. It has pretty much destroyed my life. Before I was the center of attention and a social guy. These days I got no friends left, and at the moment I havent done much else than sit at home for two years.

Working on fixing my problems more actively now though.

I get this question a lot whenever I tell people I have this fear, I take showers. See I am fine with things like rain or showers or things like a glass of water (drinking one right now) it's bodies of water that I can fit in that scare me, a puddle or a shower is not going to paralyze me in fear.

Ahhh I see...I had to ask :) Didn't know how far it extended. I'm guessing taking an actual bath, as in one you lie in after you've ran the water is still an issue?

Yup but it's no big deal to me. This house has a nice shower.

No. I don't have a phobia. I hate bugs (but they also fascinate me) and don't like being in the sea (nearly drowned when I was a kid) but that's about it. I can easily overcome them.

I do know someone with a crippling fear of cats.

Spiders. I got bit by a black widow when I was five and it almost killed me, so it only worsed the fear I had before. Now if I see a spider, I ahve to stop and study it, judging whether I can take action or not.

Also clowns that look like this
<spoiler=Damn you King, you're a good author>http://www.edhumphries.com/wp-content/uploads/pennywise-the-clown.jpg

Any time I see one, I make a huge arc around them. If they're dicks, they notice and follow me. Yeah, its weird to stand in front of the county police officer explaining why I beat a clown unconscious in the middle of a carnival...
