I'm struggling to love my psp and I was hoping that a couple more decent games would help me. So far I've enjoyed Silent Hill, Burnout, Crisis Core and God of War.

Any recommendations?? I'll go for anything so long as it isn't boring as fuck

Resistance: Retribution looks pretty good.

It depends, what types of game are you in to?

Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable is apparently going to get a North American release. Not sure when, though.

Metal Gear Solid -> Portable Ops

The real answer is... their aren't any! Get into emulation would be my advice.

I truly adored Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, if you're interested in a tactical RPG, definitely try it.

I also heard good things about Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, but since Belgian gamingstore owners have never heard of it I haven't tried it myself. It's a tactical RPG as well.

I liked the silent hill game. I might have been homecoming, I cannot remember. Also the worms games are fun for a quick play between classes. God of war was decent.

OH and final fantasy four if you have not played it yet one of the other billion times it has been released on various platforms. Didn't mean to back to back.

World Tour Soccer is awesome, especially winning the World Cup as Kazakhstan.
And Pursuit Force, that's pretty good.

Crisis core very good, war of the lions, not so much.

I am a big fan of the FF series and TBS games but WOTL (sorry for the acronyms) just didnt seem to click...

Logans shadow is good, LOTR tactics and burnout also good.

I agree with a lot of the suggestions on this list. Especially Disgaea, and Jeanne D'arc. Disgaea is an expanded remake of the PS-2 game. Also if you missed Valkyrie Profile on the PS1 that one has a full fledged recommendation from me as well.

All of the Final Fantasy games for the PSP are decent, but they are all expanded remakes. Final Fantasy Tactics: War Of Lions for example is the same FFT game from the PS1 albeit with new characters added to it. FF 1 and FF 2 are the remade versions from the DS but with better graphics and a bit more tightening up (and not packaged together).

I have mixed opinions about Monster Hunter: Freedom. I played the first one a very little bit and then had it stolen with only a little progress, but enough to annoy me. I have the second one but haven't had the heart to play it yet.

At least going by the first one it's a decent action-RPG game combined with a hunting simulation, BUT to use it to full capacity you need other people to play with (which I did not have). It also involves time limits on missions (which I hate), and a camera that goes from painful, to merely annoying as you play it.

For example when deaing with groups of Raptors I had problems not so much because the monsters were tough, but because with them jumping around it was difficult to turn the camera to see what I was doing (my character responded just fine however).

Don't be an ass, although I will agree that emulators just add a whole lot more to the list of games.
