In short, a fanboy is anyone whose love for a given product exceeds their common sense.

A fanboy is a person who not only dissed games and consoles he hasn't played but continues to hold the view despite actual evidence to the contrary. It is exactly the same as religeous fundamentalism on paper just alot funnier in real life.
I'm from the UK so i don't know much about this; but apparently the theft of a blessed cracker was enough to require death threats and armed guards at the the catholic church from where it was stolen as a prank. This was last week, in 2008, in an advanced and wealthy country..... I'm off to central Russia i think.

ok i think i can give a good example of what a fanboy is...
I love star wars so dose my best freind and my wife so when the last star wars movie came out we all went to the midnight showing of the movie the night it came out. which is something a fan would do but a fan boy would show up in star trek outfits and heckle the starwars fans which happened.

Are you fucking serious? In the UK? You couldn't get 20 meters in a star trek outfit without being fucking murdered by a herbert in the city i grew up in.
