Me: Hmm, I don't usually watch youtube videos created by teenage girls wearing more eye makeup than Alice Cooper, but what the hell. Let's see what the fuss is about.

(Now count backwards from 7... Once you reach 3 you'll be at about the time I wanted to stop watching this video.)
I didn't need to watch any more to see where this was going, but for the sake of argument, I watched all 4-ish minutes of banality. I am about as much of a fan of Miley Cyrus as I would be a fan of genital warts so that's a no brainer, and I really couldn't give less of a shit about Mandy Jiroux (Whoever the hell that is) if I'd eaten nothing but oatmeal and drywall mud for two weeks straight, but if this vacuous, vapid, materialistic bovine pathology is what passes for 'female empowerment' then stick a fork in me, I'm done.
I see where you're going though, in a world of spice girl 'power' and Paris Hilton moral standards, just what the hell does 'feminism' mean anymore? It seems to have been degraded to 'Demand equal rights and treatment without doing any of the necessary work involved' and this comes from women who dress like hookers and wonder why men stare at their breasts and completely ignore their demands for respect. Then there's this overblown sense of entitlement (AKA 'the princess syndrome') whereas a woman wants to be treated like an equal, but have her man provide for her all of the luxuries that life (and his wallet) can offer, but then when they're expected to do any 'wifely' duties, out comes the feminazi equality rant.
As usual, we can blame society, the media, Marilyn Manson, (Why not? They blame him for everything else) et. al, but the truth is that EVERYONE is to blame for letting this degredation of women continue. Hip Hop videos, Maxim Magazine, Keys to the VIP, all mysoginistic bullshit aimed at the valuable(?) 18-34 MALE demographic, so when women (i.e. young girls) see thats what men apparently want, that is what they emulate, which of course brings about all the desired attention, but not the positive I want to spend the rest of my life with you kind, more like the I want to bend you over the bar and nail you from behind so I don't have to see your face kind. Harsh, yes. True, yes. And paradoxically (My word of the week) THESE WOMEN BRING ALL THIS BULLSHIT ON THEMSELVES, then ***** about they way they're treated. That's like walking around with a Kick Me In The Balls T-shirt on and wondering why you keep getting kicked in the balls.
Its enough to make me want to gouge my own eyes out with red-hot, sharpened SPOONS. At any rate, there's my 2 cents. (ok more like 3 1/2) but this is far too deep a subject to get into in one thread post, so I'll summarize my feelings with the following statement, Ladies: Stop it.
