North-east Coast, USA. Where are you from? and how can I move there faster than the speed of light to get away from the monstrosity that is Teenage Lingo.DemonicKitten said:Where do you come from out of interest. I can not say i have ever heard these phrases being spoken but i can see why they must get annoying.AkJay said:I would probably delete the word "mad" just so people can't use it as "Yo, that was mad funny." I wish I could delete the phrase "Geeking Out", so that I wouldn't have to hear "Yo, that was mad funny I was geeking out ."

Yes! I was browsing the other responses wondering if I might find anything in particular and I found it. Even just 'lol' alone would make me so happy. I never type it and doing it just then made my heart hurt. I hate it and want it gone. Here's a picture for everyone.Naturalized said:I would delete lol and all it's variations (lol, rofl, lmao etc etc etc)
I absolutely despise it's usage. Especially those that got born in the last ten years and immediately think it's cool therefore place it after every sentence.
you just said its not necessary and yet you just used the word "the" in a sentance.Berethond said:We could do without it. It's not necessary.NeedAUserName said:The. Just to mess with everyone.
I think I would delete all forms of the "to be" verb. (Is, was, is being, to be, has been, will be)
I disagree. The word "like" is a vital part California English as a conversational filler.VicunaBlue said:"Like" If you've ever heard a rambling preppy, you will agree.
Bless. Now i understand how you have that kind of 'lingo'. Im from Northeast coast of the UK. Sadly you get the geordie talk here and that can get annoying for some also. Though i think you may prefer it to what you seem to have already.AkJay said:North-east Coast, USA. Couldn't you just have said conjugation?Berethond said:We could do without it. It's not necessary.NeedAUserName said:The. Just to mess with everyone.

Saying all forms of the to be verb extends further than just saying conjugations, because the conjugations are is, was, being, be, and been. But for our purposes, yes, I could have.megamanenm said:Couldn't you just have said conjugation?Berethond said:We could do without it. It's not necessary.NeedAUserName said:The. Yea but, everything sounds better with a British accent, So I probably wouldn't mind the slang as much.DemonicKitten said:Bless. Now i understand how you have that kind of 'lingo'. Why delete a word that no one uses? Kind of destroys the entire point doesn't it?Brnin8 said:Antidisestablishmentarianism I think that is how it is spelled but spell check does not know either so yeah. It has no purpose anymore, the group it described is no longer around.
