This all sounds a little convenient... at any rate this has been fun but I can see you will not be swayed from your narrow minded view and aren't willing to actually take any one else's opinions seriously (despite asking for discussion...) My advice would be not to attend many partys in the future. And if you really must... take your own bottle coke
Matter of opinion, I think one way, some think otherwise. I'm just stubborn.
And only one left. I will make it a cokeparty (coke as in the drink, not the drug)
Yes, but you also have to accept when you're wrong. Perhaps thats why you find it so hard to talk to people in a party environment.

You are 15 and there was alcohol?
Drinking starts younger in Europe? I dunno, I was drinking when I was 15.
O Ok, Europe. That explains some things.
Well i live in finland and it's legal to drink when you turn 18 but then again, what party doesnt have alcohol when you are 15? Who 15 year old doesnt/didnt/will not drink? :D
MOST American 15 yr olds. When I went to high school people didn't drink until their were seniors or juniors. You younguns' are crazy nowadays.

yeah at my highschool dances here in ohio usualy 2/3s of the people there are trashed or blazed.and trust me its difficult to tell if somthing in somebody water bottle is actualy water. most of the time it aint.
I am in college I know the water bottle technique, I am saying that I did not drink while I was in high school, and "having a drink" is fine while your in high school, but wait for college to get trashed/blazed.

What do you think? Am I Sergant Buzzkill or am I right?
Well if you were so sure nobody would have the insight that you have into what the problem was why bother asking?

EDIT also if you look back at my first post (i think) i did give an example where i was in a similiar situation to you. Albeit not suffering from the strangest sleep disorder I've ever heard of.

I doubt you have the experience to judge a party just yet. 7 hours though? Good thing there were no drugs...

Well, the internet is large, maybe someone has had the same experience as me?
If you look at my edit you'll see I said I have already mentioned a similiar circumstance. I doubt, however, you'll find someone who has been in the exact same situation where they are torn between a night of boredom or instantly falling into a coma through dancing for more than a minute because they haven't had enough coke...

I remember the last party my school hosted. Well they didn't host all of it because they hired a specialist company to provide a DJ and a light system among other things. I'd had alot of fun at the years previous party and actually spent most of the night with a nice girl I had alot in common with. But at this years one I felt like I was surrounded by desperate boys attempting to get their little legs over equally desperate girls (And these are 13-14 year olds). On top of that the music was crap (But then again I don't listen to much music so despite most of the tracks being brand new chart-toppers I didn't know why the fuck people were getting so hyped about the songs). But despite those things I largely spent the night just hanging around with my mates, and before the party even started I had three of them over at my place where we had some pizza before we went out, and spent most of the time dividing our attention between games like halo 3 (Which has somewhat tragically become the standard game for WHENEVER they come over) and our new copy of Beatles Rockband.

So basically it's better to have fun with friends than to try to have fun in a crowded, noisy smelly hall being surrounded by post-pubescant wankers french kissing (Or the equivalent of) other girls much like them. Or if you're anti-social I guess you could just go on the escapist...or play video games...or masturbate find other hobbies...

Ok, I have officially got to the point where I don't even care anymore.

YOU WIN

You are completely right and I have just been arguing with you for a laugh. I totally agree that the party you went to must have literally been the worst experience anyone could possibly endure just because you said so.

Oh by the way... that was sarcasm. Sorry to point it out but I genuinely can't tell if your narrow mind would be able to comprehend it.

And I have a feeling that something non-school will be better
Um, yeah. You'll come to that conclusion the first time you smoke out with a chick and she starts to make out with you on the sofa, and YOUR TEACHER ISN'T THERE TO SEPARATE YOU WITH A RULER.

Only 1 slice of pizza? That is a terrible party! No, this isn't sarcastic, I'm just the kind of person who doesn't enjoy dancing and only socializes a little unless I know the people there really well, so the lack of pizza would have ruined it for me.

Again with the excuses. I don't care what kind of comment you can pull out, that's not how it works. If you go into a situation with a "this is going to suck" attitude, it will suck. If you try not to have fun (and don't give me this "i tried to socialize" bs, at that point your mind was already dead-set on not having fun), you will not have fun.

And if you're tired and incapable of moving, why the hell would you go to a place that's very energy-draining (unless you're extroverted, but I can safely assume you're not). Same for not being able to move, that's just a show of insecurity and uncomfortableness. NOT party mentality. You need to loosen up.

If you were physically not well, then you deciding to go to a party is like a marathon runner with a broken leg deciding to participate in a race.
Yeah, i would take this guys advise Op. If you don't feel like you will enjoy a party then don't go, because you will be in the wrong mentality and not enjoy it. I've gone to a few parties at university in the "wrong mentality" and not enjoyed them, soon i learned not to go if i don't feel like going, be more selective so when i do go to a party or a night out i enjoy it (generally). You just had a bad party, everyone goes to them at some stage, try and learn from your experience and you will have not wasted a night.

Just face it, your a social retard. Learn to accept and embrace your retardation or you'll end killing yourself.
This pretty much sums up my thoughts.

I didn't read every post made on this thread...but I read enough to understand that you didn't enjoy yourself do to lack of sleep..which leads me to wonder why 1. you would go to party in the first place and, 2. why you didn't leave. If you weren't having fun...why stay out? Why didn't you use that 7 hours to catch up on sleep? Doesn't make sense.

Also, you stated once that "soda has about a million sugars" or something like that. When it only has around 30 grams. So even if there was soda, it wouldn't have done much to help keep you awake anyway since you went 2 days without sleeping...that and the fact there isn't enough caffeine in soda. That's where energy drinks come in.

The question is,
Do members of a primarily gaming forum need to hear about anyone's crappy school party?
But then again at least it's a first for a thread.
