So you didn't like the party. You can't like everything.

So long as you didn't rain on everyone else's parade, your fine.

But if you did, then you win this:

I was the only one not participating.

No, I didn't. I think. I mean, they tried to get me up on the dance floor, but I was to tired.
Does that count?
oh, um... then kind of I guess. Probably don't deserve the award, but still kind of a buzzkill.

What.

I keep going through this and I don't think I've puzzled out what the hell you are rambling about yet. The sentence structure and phrasing almost looks like you've stitched it together from tweets.

In answer to your question: I have no idea whatsoever, all I can make out is that you didn't have fun or get enough food (that you don't think they should have had in the first place yet you're complaining you didn't get enough of it?!). I am very confused.

Woah.

By the sounds of it, you were at a party where there was a lot of drinking, a lot of dancing and a lot of socialising... although you weren't drinking, you weren't dancing, and (it's implied) you weren't really socialising.

That's like buying a new video game, but instead of playing it you just stare at a blank screen. And then post on a forum how boring that blank screen is :p

The thing about these parties is that you really have to get involved. Hell, the drinking and dancing isn't even that necessary, just strike up conversation with whoever comes off the dance floor and the night will fly by.

you need to learn to kick back and have fun regardless of how 'well' the party is set up... otherwise youre going to be let down a lot in the future and inhibit yourself from having fun. Plus, people dont like to hear about someone complaining while theyre at a party..

Worst attitude for a party EVER! With that attitude, you will never have fun at a party regardless of the music, the number of pizza slices you got, etc... I love how you make it seem like what "ruined" this party when that's clearly just an excuse and it's much more obvious why you didn't have fun.

Seriously, just chill the fuck out an have some fun. THAT'S a party.

EDIT3: Most people don't seem to understand this:
I tried to socialize, but I couldn't
And who's fault is that? The person who bought the food? No, it's you and your negative outlook on the party. Be more open-minded and suddenly the party will flow so much more smoothly. You "tried" to socialize whilst your mind was already made up.

Honestly - does this really matter? Do members of a primarily gaming forum need to hear about your crappy school party? Do you honestly think, that besides coming to this thread to mock you, any of use really care what happened or why it happened?

There's absolutely no reason to post such a pointless, moronic and downright childish thread, and it's these constant wave of irrelevant, childish, no discussion (I mean really, "Am I Sgt. Buzzkill?" is your discussion - what's the point?) topics that have slowly dragged down these forums.
