I just love the pretty graphics, the story, the grinding. It's coming out a day after my day off >.< so annoying.

Oh, I'm stoked. I love the story that is FF, but seriously, you think they would learn after FFX and X-2. I missing Balthier from FF12 already. Maybe. just maybe there is one character in here who will make up for it. Sahz is looking less and less retarded as the game gets closer to its release date.

I hate Gametrailers.

Their videos will never work for me.

What did they say about it?
They gave it a 8.6. However, I'm kinda interested to get a PS3 or 360 for Final Fantasy now.
Only an 8.6?

Hmm... What did they say was bad about it?

And get a PS3. I'm not a fanboy (well, not really) but I love me some PS3 over anything else.
Cheesy, cutesy dialogue. The fact that it's linear and streamlined is somewhat of a double edged sword.
Whats Streamlined mean?

But...almost all FFs are linear.

Why won't people acknowledge this?
Their main storylines are. But so is every game's, more or less anyway. By comparison FFs were much less linear than most games.

No, not as open as games like Fallout, but they still had noticeably more freedom than your average game.
True, but you want to progress the storyline first, then you get the freedom to do whatever.
Kinda like FF 12, also who cares about lower resolution, if you're a true gamer you dont care about graphics

To reduce resistance. (In this case, dull moments, etc.)

I.e, the game flows much smoother when it's approached with a linear design.

So better graphics? I have actually heard they cut A LOT out of this game, I heard there was suppose to be a zoo or something, kind of disappointed at all the things they cut out

.. and yet they rate Mass Effect 2 a 9.7.

Whaaaaaa?
Well I have yet to see FFXIII for myself, but where its linear ME2 has more freedom, or at least gives off the sense that it does. Its dialogue looks to be more cheesy and extreme than ME2. In short I would say ME2 is better, but it always comes down to taste
