According to Steam I've played roughly 600 hours of Team Fortress 2, so that is probably a contender. However, I did used to play World of Warcraft quite a lot and whilst I can't tell you my exact gametime (I've since quit) it's probably close to that, if not exceeding it.

XCOM: EU at 151 hours, then Skyrim at 149, then New Vega at 125. Those are also the only game I have over the 100 hour mark. It looks like I'm averaging in the 50-60 range for most games, with the shorter indie ones coming in at 5-10.

I know I spent over 100 hours on Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. Anything else is a little fuzzy for me.

Xfire says that i've played WarRock for 743 hours . In reality it's probably more like 900+ hours since i didn't always have xfire online when i played it, plus it also didn't count any of the time i spent on korean warrock (which would have probably been at least another 40 or so hours)

After WarRock, my next 9 most played games are:

2. Runescape. I don't have any way of telling how long i actually played it for, but i started in 2005 and played it on and off until 2010. Didn't really grind on it but i made about 5 different accounts, my main i got to level 70+ with fairly decent stats in everything else, a second character to level 40-50, and a few other accounts around level <20.
I'd say i probably spent about 500 hours on it.

3. Garry's Mod (307 hours)
4. Sims 2 - 160 hours according to xfire, but i know this time should be around 200 hours.
5. Gunz - 158 hours, again probably more like 190 or so hours.
6. Dungeon Defenders (185 hours)
7. WoW (150 hours)
8. America's Army (135)
9. Fallout 3 (119)

Mount and Blade: Warband, I have clocked in 167 hours into. The only other game that could compete would have to be Pokemon, which would be somewhere between 100 to 200 hours. Not exactly sure how many hours since I don't have my old ruby and fire red game.

721 hours on Champions Online, and around 500 hours on Disgaea 2 (350 of the PSP version, the rest on the PS2 one). 318 hours on Borderlands 2, I didn't realise I played it quite that much.

I put around 400 hours in Okami, but I left it running so I had 999 clocked...
I also have over 300 in Skyrim, like 200 in DMC4, Persona 3 & 4, and Pokemon. So far I'm at 100 in Tales of Graces but I haven't even completed my second run.

If I like a game I play it to death.

Original counter strike for me, probably well over 700 hours. I used to play that game for like 3~4 hours a day, almost every day, for many years.

Not counting WoW that is...

Pretty much the first Guild Wars game sinceI had invested around 2-3 years in that game. Second place would either be Dragon Quest 9 (danm weekly download quest) or Pokemon Diamond.

I had over 100 days played on my wow character, across tbc and wrath. Nothing even comes close to that. CSS has a few hundred hours, so does TF2, Persona 4, Pokémon, Garrys mod and the FF games.

Final Fantasy XI would absolutely be the game with the longest record for me. I played it for nearly a decade, and while I can't check my exact record since I am not currently subscribed to it, the last I remember it being somewhere above 350 days of time logged in with my main character.

So somewhere above 8400 hours playing Final Fantasy XI. Yeah, I liked that game just a little bit.

I really wish inFAMOUS 2 counted my total game time, I've been playing it since release day and still do occasionally (the UGC creator being the main draw for me). But the one with the most hours actually clocked is Oblivion, which easily reaches into 200 hours thanks to modding.

WoW holds two personal records.

Firstly, well over 130days /played by the time I gave up on it.
Secondly, longest personal marathon. 73 hours.

I can never play an MMO again. Rather addictive personality.

World of Warcraft would be my longest. For years that's all I did.

Followed by FFXI.

For console games, Skyrim (PC) and the SNES version of FF6 are probably close to tied.

I'm bad with MMOs too. I get so addicted.

My sister and I are already going crazy waiting for FFXIV:ARR, we've pre-ordered and played the beta as much as possible. Now we're hoping phase 4 open beta starts next weekend, as this time the characters won't be reset.

We're in trouble.

I can't give you the exact amount, but I already know the game I have clocked in the most amount of hours is KotOR 2, simply because I have been playing it since it came out in 2004, and although I stopped here and there when I sold it and didn't have an Xbox 1 or 360, I pick it up again here and there and finish the whole game one character at a time. So yeah that game has absorbed the most hours out of my life ^^.
